Just to let you know that I have resigned from my mod role as of today. I know the forum is in good hands under Oddy but if Oddy needs any help Oddy and I will recommend a replacement in the near future I will be continuing as a member but just not in a mod role. Thanks everyone for all your support in making this such an enjoyable forum
That's a shame Ron, you have done a brilliant job moderating this forum. Thank you for all your time and effort.
Well I'm off to Paris for the day tomorrow (unfortunately business, not pleasure) so you lot will be ****ed if anything goes wrong. Ron - no point throwing in the towel due to a spat. Imagine if Martin Luther King had done that
So sorry to hear this news Ron and such a shame I personally think you do a fantastic job on here and the place will suffer for the loss of your mod duties. Obviously I don't personally know you but through your posts on here and my interactions with you I can genuinely say you seem like a top bloke. Oddy would also fall into this category for me so I know we're in good hands. Ron, your diplomatic, un biased moderation of this forum will be sorely missed. Glad you are at least staying on as a member
I echo the sentiments of the previous posters Ron. You have done a brilliant job on here and hopefully you may change your mind about leaving the moderating position
Sorry to hear this Ron but I definitely want to echo the comments of those above. You've done a tremendous job with this forum and your hard work has not gone unnoticed by the members on here. This forum has flourished with you at the helm and you will be sorely missed in this capacity.
Ron -you have been a superb moderator, in a very fair and humorous way -you will be missed in that role, glad you are still having input as a member -you have been instrumental in setting the tone on here, which has made this section of the site what it is -the best horse racing forum bar none -it is in good hands, but your input will be missed -thank you for all your time and effort -
I echo all the above sentiments Ron - and hope you might reconsider. We are lucky to have you and Oddy.
Ron -never say never -you have been and still are a massive asset to this forum - what a weekend for retirees -some saddle monkey an incontinent female runner and now Ron !! Best of luck mate and thanks again for your time , effort and common sense -chapeau
