Strangely enough, in the away end, you could barely hear the Palace fans....they didn't have much to shout about but I all I could see were a bunch of about 50 jumping about who never shut up; the rest of the ground rarely joined in. Good away support today, and plenty of Allam out protest, though there are still plenty of the 'it's his money, he can do what he wants' lot. I met a particularly sad specimen on the train who still seems to think this is all about tapping into Far East markets and there is some top secret business case hidden away that will lead us onto untold riches. He went all 'la la la' when I mentioned the Council, Airco Arena, season ticket prices, ASI, and the complete lack of respect for the fans.
Clinging on to nanny, Some "fans" need to have a word with themselves. How desperate must they be for success that they will bend over repeatedly and turn a blind eye. Shame on you. Man up and stand up to these bullies.
They are in the corner on the side where the cameras are, aren't they? A bit like them being on the East Stand. I am sure away fans would be heard in the KC if the cameras were put there.
Irreconcilable differences I think is the term used when a relationship between two parties has completely broken down. This is what we're faced with now and let it be recorded that on Saturday 25th April at around 9.45pm was the first time that I genuinely feared for the future of our club. There's only going to be one winner in this and it won't be the fans.
If you're already bending over, you probably don't need to turn a blind eye. Unless you've put all your eggs in one basket after the horse has bolted.
We are not North Ferriby United. He needs a successful team to be able to sell us and get his money back. After today I think we have been sold, or as near as damn it. I've been wrong before and I may be wrong now, but I don't think so.
No facts, just the row with the council over the Airco, the lack of any attempt to convince supporters of the benefits of Hull Tigers, the season pass increases, the attitude to supporters and the rumours we have 3 interested buyers. My gut feeling is that he's almost sold us.
I would say the increasingly confrontational developments are far more indicative of some seperation forming.
