Forget the stats. Forget the fact we should win this on form. I am expecting a really tough test against a Cheltenham team who could be in the last chance saloon. Time for every one of the 1700 Salop fans to shout themselves hoarse and sing their hearts out for 90 minutes and cheer the lads on to promotion.
I will be in seat D103 (I don't care whether I sit or stand as long as we win!) for anyone that wants to pop over and say hello. I predict a scruffy Mansfield type game with Barnett causing much delirium by scoring a late winner.
    Floreat Salopia!

    Should be a fantastic game.

As with all games it could go either way. Cheltenham, Tranmere and Hartlepool are all playing top teams. So we expect a real battle within the game and I'm sure both managers are demanding that their team go for it as early as possible. If we win then it means promotion, if Cheltenham win then it might mean league safety.

Cheltenham are without Asa Hall, Will Packwood and Matt Taylor. They have only had three clean sheets at home so shows a weakness in their defence.

Shrewsbury are without Weso and Nkp. Also injured is Keith Southern.

We're getting the Prince of Wales coach down, going to a few ale pubs either side of the game and getting the train back UN the evening. We're in G86/87 in block 4 so behind the goal to the left. I have a feeling that G is back row or 2nd to back. So might be vocal!

Always lost this season when taking over a thousand supporters away. It will all go pear shaped, particularly with BBC Breakfast this morning featuring pear farming.

Cheltenham will be a handful from the start. could be 1-0. 0-0 or 0-1. chelt are up for it, and Exeter could win or take a point at Hartlepool. early goal needed town. happy 26th birthday Jason leutwiler, keep 'em out Jason. FS COYB AJ DEVON.

Not a great game but certainly a great result. Our three centre halves were outstanding today standing up to everything a desperate Cheltenham were throwing at them. Barnett looked the pick of the front men when he came on and surely must start on Saturday. The title is still on - lets relax and give Plymouth an absolute battering and hope Burton trip up. Finally thank you again Micky Mellon for producing a team that can not only play football but also battle as if their life depended upon it - I cannot remember a more ruthless (and I mean that as a compliment) Shrewsbury team than this one.

Enjoyable day out. Had some nice ale in the Kemble Brewery inn beforehand. Couldn't sit/stand in our seats at stadium as some not so polite folks were there. Instead sang along happily with a bunch of Steve Irwin's and a crocodile!

The match was a really tough battle and we gained a lucky deflection that went in. Cheltenham had plenty of possession and really worked hard to get a goal. Thankfully town held onto their lead and we secured promotion. Great to see Lawrence be the first to walk over to the fans at the end and return the applause. It was also good to se players wearing the Burton/Bloomfield t-shirt s too.

I agree the only sour note was the behaviour of some Shrews 'fans' who seemed to want to make a belligerent statement about standing where they wanted or standing in front of people who were sat down. I cannot understand the mindset of people who think they are bigger or better fans because they go to more games/make more noise/stand up instead of sitting down and we seem to have more than our fair share of them. Fair play to the Cheltenham stewards who I thought dealt very sensibly with a potentially tricky situation and also to the Cheltenham fans I spoke to who were very welcoming, especially given the importance of the game to them.
It was a tough game but I think we deserved our victory as we had more shots (and many more shots on target). Akpro did really well to chest the ball down and get a decent strike in - he deserves a bit of luck for his consistently high workrate.

    Atcham,
I think the vote was taken some time ago so perhaps that is why Leutwiler did not get in. Even more questionable is the inclusion of McNulty (who was absolutely destroyed by Clarke when we played Luton) - Grandison ,Ellis are Knight-Percival are all better than him.
