Decision coming soon, apparently. For playing an ineligible player. Since QPR played an ineligible player for most of a season and got off scot free in terms of points deduction, I wonder if we will see such generosity with Rotherham. Probably not, since they are not a London club or even slightly fashionable.
Just read in a couple of places that Rotherham will be told today and the decision will be made public tomorrow.
Three points deducted. http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...s-for-fielding-ineligible-player-2420855.aspx
Puts them right back in deep pooh - gives Millwall and even Wigan a chance of getting out of the mire
From all that I've read, it does seem clear-cut and that the three points should be deducted. Still doesn't answer why QPR got off almost scot free. And you can bet your life that, if QPR come down, despite having broken FFP rules, some kind of exception will be made for them.
I never understood that with QPR either. I'd love to see them refused entry to the Football League if they come down and they do what they've threatened.
