    This has been suggested hundreds of times on old 606 and here, but wanted to guage the general opinion. Would you have Bellamy back on a free/low fee? Just brought it up because Luke Edwards is on about him on twitter, he claims we tried to get him last season "fact". He's getting on a bit (31) but would he still be effective at this level? If so a brilliant foil for Ba, just what we're after. I'm undecided, thoughts?

    I'm not massively bothered with his attitude, as long as he still has the talent. If he was going for a nominal fee and had reasonable wages I'd give him a 2 year deal I think.

    Yes. He is still a great player and he is the hardest worker i've ever seen at St James Park (maybe with the exception of Beardsley). The only worry i would have is that he is another injury prone player, we have enough of those already.

    i would have him back.everyone hates him however you would want him fighting your corner week in week out, great player sadly fat mike runs the club so there goes that plan

    Yeah i'd take him back so long as his wages were reasonable. Great player on his day and still got pace to burn.

    I'd love to see him here. Quick, great touch, and would play brilliantly with Ba.

    Wages would be a problkem though, so it'd have to be on loan.

    Even though he's a **** , I'd have him back.

    He's exactly the type of striker we need and would combine well with Ba.

    But Bellamy , Ba , (N'Zogbia) and Barton in the dressing room... :emoticon-0146-punch
