Just cheked it out, 7.5 on imdb, worth a watch so. Love guy pierce in anything I've seen him on (except Iron man - gash movies). Pricilla queen of the desert is one of my favourites (not a cowboy movie obviously) Ray Winstone is good too. added to my list of what to watch
Is it just me or do others spend time amassing lots of movies and when it comes to picking one, you can't find one you want to watch
Wayne's best cowboy film was The Searchers. Not Wayne, but Soldier Blue is watchable as is Little Big Man with Dustin Hoffman. When I was a kid there was always a western on TV on a Sunday afternoon. There again we also buses which were open at the back so you could jump off whilst it was still approaching your stop, just be cool.Of course if you fell because you had misjudged the speed and tumbled into the queue of people waiting at the bus stop, (like a ball in a ten pin bowling alley), it could be embarrassing. Never happened to me ...honest!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421238/ Rural Australia in the late nineteenth century: Capt. Stanley and his men capture two of the four Burns brothers, Charlie and Mike. Their gang is held responsible for attacking the Hopkins farm, raping pregnant Mrs. Hopkins and murdering the whole family. Arthur Burns, the eldest brother and the gang's mastermind, remains on the loose and has retreated to a mountain hideout. Capt. Stanley's proposition to Charlie is to gain pardon and - more importantly - save his beloved younger brother Mike from the gallows by finding and killing Arthur within nine days.
thats not cowboy though thats sheep wranglers... I must see it... I will ask the guy with 1000 dvds if he has it at home.. must have that one some place... but when igoogled i found some 1998 woeful film that was some period drama ****e than had me wondering if you'd flipped.
Forgot the Wild Bunch...brilliant film. When the west meets the modern era and the gang of bank robbers realise the world is changing. Also has the best bank raid shoot out of all time at the beginning.
