And i do sometimes wonder why we want to be in this competition -

Birmingham - Playing it out of the Championship - Best Hughton cant believe it

Stoke - The dullest team in the FL to watch

Fulham - Got there on a Technicality

Spurs - Dont even really want to play in it

how lucky are 3/4 of those teams to be playing Euro football. i would love to be playing some decent Euro talent, and now these 4 represent our country, joy.

Good point, I think the only reason teams want to be in it, is for the prestige so they can attract bigger players and obviously money, the actual competition itself, teams put the league first, and if they are still in it after January they will usually play reserve teams!!

Foreign teams seem to have a different mentality for it!!

This. Also many foreign leagues have a lesser ranger of ability. For example, Spain have teams like Athletico, Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal and Deportivo who are all teams who could qualify for the CL, Some won't, so will stand a great chance of winning the Europa League.

    Birmingham - Focused on promotion
Stoke - Focused on the league
Fulham - Focused on the league
Tottenham - Focused on finishing 4th.

I really hope sloppy chops actually has a go at winning the competition because Spurs actually have the quality to do it if they tried.

Apart from Deportivo being relegated, you have a good point. I was so happy when Atletico won it, where as supporters of teams like Liverpool seem to dislike it because they think that they are better than it

I don't see how people can call stoke dull? they go for the win every game and get the ball in the box every time they're in an opposition's half. It seems like a lot of spite that goes towards them due to the fact teams struggle against them! Like Wenger stupidly said either before or after a Stoke v Arsenal game that we shouldn't have throw in's and it should be kicked in instead....

At least Fulham did finish in the top half of the table and only barely out of a legitimate Europa League spot. But I do completely agree with your point! I think we'd all enjoy a few more weekday night games to keep us busy

It could have been worse. Blackpool nearly snook in through the fair play league.
