  1. If you'd take 5 minutes to watch the whole video, not just the goal, you'll see why this video makes me feel happy even when times are down.

The vibe and the passion from the Toon fans and the connection between the players and the fans is just amazing. It's electric!

The best bit is towards the end after the final whistle where the lads come over to the fans.

Best video on youtube. Look at the Chelsea fans stunned and silent because their fans couldn't make such a noise with 20x as many fans.

Yet they pay so much money to go and watch their team, maybe its the feeling of getting ripped off.

I have a few friends who say the same when watching the Spanish national team play, a lot of people don't like teams that so patiently dominate possession with short passing. Personally, I'm usually too impressed to ever complain

Seen that vid a fair few times and it's quality. I was down in the lower section when the players came over to celebrate and we all bundled down to the front and went mental.

Tbf I'm pretty much the same, its impressive football obviously but bar Messi its not the most exciting.

Plus they seem like a pretty arrogant club, look at the way they're trying to sign Fabregas.

How can anyone sat Barca are boring? They are the best footballing team I have ever witnessed and they are the best I ever will witness by a mile! As a football fan I love watching them play.

  12. How is it arrogant? Fabregas is hardly a news breaking signing really. The only midfielder i'd see he'd replace is Busquettes, but that would conflict the style they play. They like to play 3 attackers, 2 center mids and 1 defensive mid. He's not going to replace any of the upfront 3 - Messi, Villa or Pedro. He's definitely not going to replace Iniesta or Xavi as he's not as good. So that just leaves the DM position. But he's not a DM.

Fabregas is a poorer mans version of Xavi, but still crackin. I doubt he'll get into the first team until one of the older players retire. He's probably going to be cover for Xavi.

Barcelona are right. No one is good enough for them. They could sign anyone.

I completely agree with all of this, though if I were Cesc I'd be afraid by the time Xavi or Iniesta retire there'll be someone younger than him ready to jump ahead in line. With the way they're attracting all of the most talented kids from Spain and South America, it's reasonable to imagine there'll be somebody better than him among their ranks within 2-3 years

I'll answer this with formation porn.

    Busquets
    Xavi-----Fabregas

    Messi----Villa----Iniesta*
