Love this thread ... genuinely ... it epitomises the lot of the football fan ...the unconscious (where the mags are concerned conscious ) bias that comes from hope rather than cold logic ... just look at the predictions made for your rivals in the relegation battle ... Only one of you went for a Leicester home win .. despite our being on our best run of form all season with two wins on the bounce beforehand and on the back of creditable performances in defeat at both Arsenal and Spurs... For the complete avoidance of doubt - I'm in no way having a dig ... our prediction league is very similar .. sub-consciously coloured by what we would like to happen where the closest rivals are concerned ... We were dead and buried 3 games ago but with most of our remaining games at home, a stadium rocking to drive the team on and a team full of pace and commitment (the latter possibly influenced by a £5 million survival bonus pot put up by the owners ) we've given ourselves a real chance ... Wish you all the best... but obviously not at our expense ...
That is a massive advantage..Our place is full of negativity which undoubtedly has a negative effect on an already poor side..
