Sadly he won't emulate his mum's record. He finished last in his first start but was making up ground in the latter stages

Doesn't inspire a lot of hope. Seemed totally spent at the finish as well.

Thanks ROTO. It wasn't that bad. Allowed to just coast home in his own time.

I think you're being very kind Ron! I counted the jockey whipping him 11 times!

Just watched again, more closely. Actually, it wasn't that good either was it. I didn't see him using the whip the first time. Didn't seem as though there was much to give, as you said.

    Sorry but have to laugh!

Was almost as funny as Zenyatta's only defeat. What a true champion Blame was giving her a good thrashing<laugh>

Breeding is never something you want to get carried away with. Obviously Frankels full brother Noble Mission eventually got the hang of things at G1 level, whilst Ouija Board produced Australia, but 9 times out of 10 these hype horses on pedigree fail to live up up to expectations. You wouldn't have expected him to be that bad though:biggrin:

Yep, a real thrashing. 100 yard start and just held on <laugh>
I reckon that jockey thought he was on Zenyatta for the first half of the race - then reality hit

She didn't give the winner a 100 yard start, he travelled in 2nd last throughout

Blame was the only Grade 1 dirt horse Zenyatta ever ran against.

Looked a big baby to me.
Have him gelded and send him to Willy Mullins to train as a 5yo.
