"Sunderland are also interested, plus a number of teams in Europe, with Monk emerging as one of the brightest young English managers around."

Sounds like he won't be ending up a Camel Jockey then!!..............<laugh>

It was inevitable 'they' would come calling as Monk has proved his worth this season. Imo any move outside of Manchesters, Arsenal or Chelsea would be a sidestep at best and a move to West Ham or Sunderland would be a backward step so looks like we're stuck with him, oh yeah :emoticon-0178-rock:

I'd put my mortgage, frau und kinder on him staying.

Press are saying we are after him too? Most likely absolute bullshit - I think he'll struggle outside of Swansea personally - he commands respect having been with swansea a while but I think he'll struggle to command the same elsewhere from some more "prima-donna" players (even our shower of ****e!)

I also think "Why would he go from Swansea, where he's had a very successful first full season in charge, to Sunderland, who are languishing" - I hate that I feel that way but I can;t see anything else!

Much too early for monk to try and manage another club imo, He needs a couple more seasons yet to prove himself and others that he is not a one season wonder. I personally think he is the real deal and will eventually move up the ladder but as it stands today he must continue learning his trade with the swans. If he continues with the way he is going then its inevitable he will be a wanted man.....

My top three managers this season imo are -:

    1) Jose Mourinho
    2) Arsen Wenger
    3) Garry Monk
