(I haven't seen their wage slips so I don't know, just going on what I have heard from more reliable sources)

Hear a lot, espcially when a player hasn't been doing all that well 'on 50k a week he should be...'

As far as I can see the players left on crazy money 50k plus are

Adel, Joey & SWP (last 2 end of contract in the summer) anyone else?

I would think (don't know) we have a few on around 40K Sandro, Fer, Caulker (I heard he accepted a lower offer from us than he got offered from Palace) and maybe more.

The one name that springs to mind was Green, mostly because I was on facebook not long after that game, he was on 50K plus but I thought he signed a significantly lower contract in the summer? Is that not right?

Yes in the scheme of what most of us earn it's still mega bucks and the club probably shouldn't be offering quite as much due to substainability, but do you not find our players wages seem to be doubled when mentioned by fans and the media?

The top 20 teams in England pay $2.9BN in wages a year. All of MLS pays $129.5m

On the 2014 salary list are 572 players earning total wages of just over $129.5 million. This sounds like a lot of money, and it is. But in comparison to the Premier League, for example, it is small potatoes. The MLS total includes 21 clubs (for 2014 it includes Chivas USA, since folded, and partial squads for NY City FC and Orlando City FC, both being formed). Yet their total wage bills combined equals about the same as the wage bill for Queens Park Rangers ($126 million) in 2012-13, the most recent year’s data available for QPR

Yes. Partly why I pay no attention to what they are supposed to earn . We have or have had supposedly big ambition as a Club. So I expect them to be paying top wakk. I am disappointed that we have not been bringing in, or of course bringing through, good enough players. It is the major reason why we have not become a fairly established PL Club the last 4 seasons. Poor management has contributed but really our Chairman has not walked his talk.

What mad moments? Are you referring to the misunderstanding at the KC or the miscarriage of justice at the Etihad?

So we could have a squad of 572 players for the price of 25-30? Should increase our options and make us less vulnerable for injuries :emoticon-0142-happy
