Well you could say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to go to the new Wembley and not see your team lose But in any case my still stands
what have you won in the new wembley? what finals did you reach again. We all know LFc have been poor but at least we won something this generation and got to a final that year too. our current built might only be respectable given 2 semi finals and a half respectable league positions despite being poor but its better than.... nothing?
What are you waving your cock for? I stated a simple fact about Wembley appearances You've played in 2 finals and a SF, we played in 2 SF's and a final.
did you.... aint you the big club course we beat you in one...I forgot about moyes and the its his destiny thing.. its worth bantering just to rememebr that.. it was funny. the 2009 fa cup final.. yeah you lost to chelsea just like we did in 2011.
Not sure if the question related to semis only, but I had the pleasure of seeing the 2006 final in Cardiff: At the wrong end of the ground, surrounded by a load of not-so-Happy Hammers! My mate is the the club doctor at WHU. Seemed like a good idea sat the time, but being with the other fans is certainly not for the faint-hearted... great view of the Red celebrations at the other end, mind! GKRK
Lawro's idea. Aston Villa v Liverpool (FA Cup semi-final, 15:00 BST) Aston Villa have picked up since Tim Sherwood took charge in February and their win at Tottenham last weekend was a great result for Villa and him personally. With five goals in his last three Villa games, Christian Benteke's form is a worry for Liverpool but they will pose a threat too. Whoever plays for them, I feel the Reds will do more damage with their pace through the middle and up front. It will be a close game but I have the sneaking suspicion with Liverpool that they have this belief they are going to get to the final, and that kind of confidence is a big factor going into games like this. Lawro's prediction: 0-1 'Bad News' Barrett's prediction: 0-2
Yeah his hip now We need to buy well this summer If skertl is back I suppose and sahko of course I'd like to see us try to get the best 343 back out on the field and hope we score first Honestly I can see us losing badly, scraping past but not being comfortable It is all down to villas attitude on the day. If they race out of the blocks they could put two past us in first ten
Make your mind up We'll give them more problems than they give us..........that's no guarantee of a result mind
I dont think we will if they press up and benteke is supported well I think sherwood has just said just go for it recently Lfc showed v Swansea v Utd, v arsenal and even against newkie that we have dropped out own levels way off and it's hard to get that back I think we will win by the odd goal but the danger is villa go at us from the outset and we are just not mentally ready for it and **** it up
He should mot kick a ball again till we get to the final. In the final he can come in for 5mins if we are winning comfortably.
I think that's a racing certainty. Leading the side out at Wembley for what could be the last time, the papers will be full of the prospect of "The Gerrard Final" tomorrow, he's nailed on to get a starting berth imo. I think Villa will give you a game, they'll look to turn you quickly and get in behind I reckon, Skrtel being back is a big bonus for you though as he'll be needed up against Benteke, who's finally found some form under Sherwood, as has the previously hapless Aghbonlahor
Yep, that's why I wouldn't be surprised - because of the sentiment. Hope I'm proven wrong but Benteke should have a field day against Skrtel. Skrtel struggles against big, physical strikers. Sakho is a big miss in that sense. However, if we play with a back 3, then Skrtel will get joy. If it's a back 2, then God help us! Agree that Villa will give us a game. You can never call these types of games.
