Just reading the paper and there is a big advert: BECOME A RACEHORSE OWNER WITH A SHARE COSTING ONLY £34 The horse is Spirit of Wedza and 1 share is 0.04% of the horse, this lasts until 31st October so therefore they value the horse and 6 months training fees at £85,000 are they having a laugh
Interesting that LADY NAYEF the only horse with experience in the opener at Newmarket, available at 16s think its worth a risk ew in a sprint which looks like anyone's race
Much better to join in stick's next venture which will be £500 to start and then £150 per month and give you a 10% share in a horse that will win!
HOPONANDSEE 9-1 Cheltenham 5:30 Form of debut is working out really well and looks very likely to improve for that experience.
Moheet won the same day as Chemical Charge at Salisbury and despite him winning by much further I preferred Chemical Charge as a prospect. The form of that Salisbury maiden does not entitle him to be 2/1 fav for this but its not surprising, there was 3 or 4 maiden winners ahead of proven 2yo form in the betting yesterday as well. Nafaqa is the one to beat although he doesnt look the most straightforward and as Estidkhaar found out with Belardo last season, Doncaster form can be turned around in no uncertain terms here. White Lake was odds on that day and is thought capable of better than he showed but the jury is still out. Hopefully something wins with a bit of style as the Guineas needs a boost.
Afternoon All. Today's lucky 15. All @ Newmarket. 4-05.War Envoy. 4-40.French Navy.(Nap) 5-10.Golden Laughter. 5-40.Dissolution. Good luck to all.
Stephanie Frances definitely decided to turn up today wanting it. She has a boat load of talent when she wants to show it. Wouldn't surprise me if she turned up in the Galway Hurdle.
Can't really complain there, travelled best but when Dane pressed the button the response wasnt what was expected and Astaire first run had proved vital as he was cherry ripe for this!
11/8 into 4/6. Wins head in chest. It was only a prep run. They might have to get her out again soon because that was way too easy. She'll now be perfectly weighted to get into some very tasty Irish handicaps on the flat in the coming months and she's going to win one.
500 Chelts Teak- Loves good ground and kept away during the winter for that reason and now he has had a pipe opener iI think this one could run a big race and at 9/1 hes an E/W steal
Astaire and A good skin do the business so a nice double landed. Shame about Lesha but no excuses, ran a shocker
Not often I bet at Chelmsford but I quite like the look of Arctic Lynx in the 8.50. A course and distance winner 2 starts ago, and was runner up at Wolverhampton off his current mark LTO. He also has a draw advantage being drawn 3 on the inside of his 2 biggest threats Sir Billy Wright and Quality Art. So I think 3/1 is a very good price, in what looks a weak 6 runner handicap
