so i managed to get a ticket and it conveniently is within the dates of my visit. just one question.. i bought some nice new puma trainers that im hoping to wear to the game. will they get dirty ? if so ill just wear flip flops. thanks
Im off to the game, the Emirates is very clean and almost as good as the bridge. Beers are over priced and they have the dearest pies in the universe but other than that its decent.
The Bridge is a dump! Chelsea have been trying to get away from it for years! The Emirates on the other hand is a very impressive, state of the art, modern stadium. Perhaps too modern as it all feels a bit too clinical and lacking in atmosphere.
I never have to worry about Spurs embarrassing themselves, mate. In fact, it's a very pleasant surprise when we don't. That gives me plenty of opportunity to worry about other teams. No one likes to see a team being spanked all over the park, especially me. I've seen that a few times with Arsenal, and it does worry me, PISKIE.
Indeed it does, I remember it in 1970, semi final v Watford we all wondered when the tide was coming in Spot the grass! please log in to view this image
Go to the Eaglet on the corner of Hornsey Road & Seven Sisters Road. The beer's cheaper and they serve it in glasses rather than plastic like the Tolly. It's where we go before games now
