The away end is partly rebuilt and the stand opposite the tv cameras is also having work done. Not sure when it's due for completion.

A club like Swansea will sit in mid-table every season, they're never gonna be able to compete for the top 4, and if they qualify for the Europa League everyone will just be saying it's a distraction and it's annoying how they have to play a lot of games on a sunday. Then what happens? You sit in mid-table until you have that off season where you really struggle and end up getting relegated, then you know full well you're trying to get promoted so you can get up there just to be a mediocre Premier League team. You dream of getting to the top, being a Premier League side, but when you get there it's really not all its cracked up to be.
Well done to them, I remember talking to some of their fans on the old 606 site and they were all a decent bunch with no exceptions before and after the event.
A few of my mates were pelted with cans & bottles after the PO final! Wembley tube station was city on one side & BC on the other! But you can only go on what happened on the day that you saw I suppose?
Does anyone know why there IS so many homeless people in Bristol? Weirdly, they're not intimidating like they are in London, but honestly, never seen so many in the UK. All huddled together. Didn't take anything away from the place mind, never had the chance to have a look round before and it was genuinely very pretty, good mix of old and new, and has a 5 Guys Burger place which was handy for lunch.
Looking nice, that. A place the size of Bristol really merits a side in the top flight. Hope they can get there.
Got a 5 Guys in Leeds now too, they really play on it supposedly being Obama's favourite burger. Leeds is overrun with burger / bbq joints now, it's ridiculous. You could probably eat at a different name in the city centre every day for a month. And I'm not talking takeaway before anyone gets clever and mentions Yankeeland or wherever.
Only been in the one in Bristol, closest one near my home is Cambridge, which I'll try at some point too. Was nice, way better than the usual fare you get in this country pretending to be a burger.
