Didn't know we were interested in him. Has anything been mentioned on NUFC.com about him?

WEST BROM have bid £2.5million for West Ham ace Jack Collison.

The midfielder, 22, is yet to sign a new deal with the Hammers after two weeks of talks.

Baggies manager Roy Hodgson made his move this week in the face of competition from Stoke, Newcastle and Everton.

Just another lazy link because he's a young, cheap midfielder which we seem to buy a lot of.

He's a good young player, quick, has a great pass and would be cheap.

    And he's WELSH!!!

Why are we linked to so many midfielders?? I'd have thought we'd be linked with a different striker every week given that the press know we have money and need one.

Looked a good player a few years back, but not really progressed since.

Has Collison ever played a competitive game for Wales because he was born in England.I know a couple of years ago he was open to the possibility of playing for England <ok>

Nah, he played for Wales in the England game, and in the Home Nations Cup.

P.S.The English translation of your signature is wrong
It should read "Milk for the children, meat for a husband, beer for the old"

He's different though. He's probably better than Guthrie(from what I've seen) & he can play out wide more effectively than Guthrie. RM/LM/CM.. so he'll be the perfect squad player!

I'd have him but can't see any strength in the rumour. If we did sign him we'd HAVE to sell one or two of our squad members to make space (Raylor/Smith maybe even Guthrie).
