Couldn't say about a falling out, but Ring des Nibelungen is on the same theme as Also Sprach Zarathrustra, namely, total power vested in a single individual, and heroes vs baddies. Guess who the heroes are. The problem with Nietzsche wasn't so much his ideas, but the way some ordinary people misunderstood them. Whatever, it all builds up to Hitler and his thugs, and half the Germans lapped it up like mother's milk in 1933. As far as Hitler being Anglophile goes, great, he sets loose his monster Herman Goering to bomb his British friends in Hull, Coventry, London, Plymouth etc etc, and when they are pounded and docile, he turns his eyes east, leaving his submarines to starve the British population to death. Some Anglophile.
If you check, a fair few of the quotes atributed to Nietzsche on the subject, were actually misquotes or invented by his sister to push for her South America colony.
I'll take your word for it. But I wasn't referring to what people said he said, but rather what he actually wrote. Also Sprach Zarathrustra is very much the same basic idea (superman) as Ring des Nibelungen, and ties in very nicely with Guido von List's crackpot mysticism and swastikas, and then to that madman Jorg Lans von Liebenfels; from where it is just a baby-step into the quasi religion of those disgusting Waffen SS people.
A lot of wait is claimed he wrote on the subject, wasn't done by him. Much of what he's known to have written indicates he'll be spinning in his grave at the thought.
Are you suggesting Nietzsche didn't write all of Also Sprach Zarathrustra? If so, what is your reason?
Are you getting a bit mixed up,about the Waffen SS and the SS? Not that the Waffen SS were pleasant types but the quasi religion stuff was connected with the SS.
Inevitably your thread has been side tracked and distorted by the likes of scooter boy, his chums and their minority ilk.
Do you not think it's a poorly composed disquisition, especially spoiled by the author's inability to recognise the obvious differences between a passionate & loyal supporter of a football club & an apathetic & soulless customer of the football industry? I do.

What a load of ****ing bollocks, comparing football clubs to supermarkets ffs. I see this was your first post. I would suggest you make it your last, if that's the best you have to offer.
