My mate has a picture of himself sat between Titus and Dyer!! Its a bloke, so wouldn't worry...

Never been lucky enough to see anyone famous, except on the pitch anyway... Might have to start going to the trendy bars in town instead of Legends...:emoticon-0178-rock::emoticon-0147-emo:

Thats true, but usually by the time i get to Legends im beyond caring what they look like! As Andy Gray might say "Every holes a goal!"

I live on the housing estate which the entrance to the academy is in, and a couple of years ago, whilst the main training ground was being redone, all the players trained there, and were promptly harassed for autographs and photos. Now, it's a good 10 minute walk to the training ground, so I see less of the players.

In terms of seeing them 'out and about', I once went with my neighbour to pick up his son from Newcastle School for Boys, and Laurent Robert, Alan Shearer, Robbie Elliott, and a a fourth whose name I forget were all in the playground waiting for their kids.

Oh, and I also spoke to Peter Ramage on the phone, when my dad played a round of golf with him, at some charity event.

Once saw Titus in Aspers after a rare good game for the toon a few years back. Asked him if Luque was as **** in training as he appeared on the pitch, to which Titus replied "Yes he's absolutely awful."

Didn't know how to reply to that.....

Still feel slightly guilty that me and my mate once gave Bob Stokoe a bit of stick at Gateshead Stadium when he was manager of Sunderland. He was with his wife otherwise we probably would have got our heads punched in. Didn't realise he was a bit of a hard case.
