That is exactly what we are planning, there are 2 of us (me and t'missus) so total cost was £1028 this season so with a couple of away games, merchandise etc. we spend a lot more than that in a season. If we don't renew I will set aside about £1500 for an 'entertainment' fund for away games, other sporting events and things like theater/meals etc. We are just getting more and more cheesed off (to put it politely) with the Allams treating us like muck and there is only so much you can take isn't there?
It is just over a year ago that I read this: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/07/hull-fans-vote-in-favour-tigers According to this 2,517 fans said NO whilst 2565 said YES to the name change. 60% of the fans couldn't give a 'rats @rse'.
In 2007, Umaru Yar'Adua won the Nigerian election with 24.6 million votes, he did so well that in some areas we won 110% of the votes and even managed to secure the votes of Nelson Mandella, Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.
And because of the original ballot and everything that has been said since no future ballot will ever be impartial again.
According to Ehab at the time, the ballot was not being done in support of the name change (which we now know was a lie) but to show support for the Allams. These numbers don't show support for them or the name change.
So where's these prices then? It's unusual for us to us to announce something like this and then not release the details first thing in the morning.
Even if it wasn't a complete farce of a ballot which holds absolutely no weight, that's simply not how voting works.
I know quite a few that didn't vote. They certainly care, but in their opinion, ignoring the vote was the best way of showing contempt for the way it was worded. I disagreed with them, but to claim they didn't vote becuase they didn't care is nonsense.
I didnt vote and I'm the most anti-name change person I know. The reason i didnt vote is because I believe the result would have zero impact whatsoever and even if it was 100% against he wouldnt have cared.
Some didn't get the chance. Others weren't going to vote in a ballot which had loaded questions on it and not a simple yes or no. Maybe they should have been like Australia and fined those who didn't vote?
I couldn't care less what price he gives I ain't buying a pass next season. If any other business told people they where irrelevant and go die it would go bust quick sharp Just a big stain on a great decade for City
