Helgusson's swan dive for the pen, and SWP and the Rrrrs players crowding the ref to get Bosi sent off when JT was covering? Luiz and Lamps denied pens by Foy etc..

How did your Cole fantasy effect result btw?

How are the Maths classes coming on: 1 in 17 <doh> when we have won 3 in 5 <applause>

I read it. I don't pretend to have every stat like some people. Probably in the Metro or Standard.

Not saying Cole's fouling had an effect but it detracts from your ludicrous 9 v 12 argument.

JT covering? Yeah he'd totally have got there. Crowding the ref? The irony of that can't be lost on you.

We got a soft pen. You see them given and you seem them not. Why Luiz felt the need to push Helguson in an unthreatening position only he knows but it was a far better shout than Luiz' laughable jump and pirouette in the air. Lampard's was arguable as good a shout as Helguson's but, as said, some are given, some not. All three were better claims than the one Sturridge got in the cup or Hazard's this season.

Agree that studge's was a joke pen. eerily quiet empty atmos at scary Loftus road that day.

And crucial to our third win in four games at Loftus Road at the time (we have drawn since).

We were quiet too that day tbf. Strange, you would have thought LR would have been hostile that day especially so close to Antongate

You're banging on about the ref in the league game but the 1-0 win you had in the Cup was a joke. Ref gave it to you on a plate.

Anything but 3pts will be bad and it is not going to be easy.. especially with both Remy & Costa out.
Fab & Matic both on yellow card suspensions is another problem..

    Can we go with Mikel??

Is this how you have been playing the last few games? Got to be worried, feels like QPR are going to get a result very strange

Looks like being a very typical Mourinho grind of an away win to be honest. Doubt they'll be that bad in the second half and don't really see us troubling them much unless Austin can smash one in from distance.

    Well we played ****.
Harsh on QPR to be honest.
Courtois was the best player on the pitch for us, made a couple of excellent saves.

Three points and that's what counts. Couldn't give a dog's fart about the performance. Come on the Chels.

Grinding a win against a team of thugs whose only tactic is to mix it up and kick their opponents off the park was very important and something we have done well this season. But that mongrel goalkeeper can stay in the bush for me, always was a **** keeper and franked that opinion with that kick.

There wasn't a bad foul in the game and we got two yellow cards.

Pretty desperate and ugly football from both teams. QPR to me looked far more direct and dangerous. Drogba, as much as I love him, is finished as a top class player. He won nothing all day and left us without a strike on goal virtually all day. Hazard was a shadow of his usual self, but still one of our better players. Willian didn't get going, Ramires was invisible and I just don't get it with him being selected so often. Fabregas tried hard, Ivan had a dodgy game Matic was overrun but kept going, JT and Cahill did their jobs and only got stiffed once, Azpi was OK and Courtois kept us in it.
I see our biggest problem as the lack of direct play, everything is done by pissing around on the sidelines. I'd like to see Willian more central, but that's just me. We will need to improve 100% to see off Utd, and I can see another dour, negative selection and performance coming. I'm afraid Jose doesn't want to play any other way. We got the points and we should get the title , wish we could do it with some style.

Usually I think CP is far too negative, but I have to agree with his assessment here, spot on analysis <ok>

Good, honest post as a neutral would have seen the game. A glimmer of light in the dark gloom of head in the sand ostriches that frequent the forum and call anyone who disagrees a ****.
