QPR still got the mags to play as well as West Ham, two teams that have finished for the season already.

Our goal difference is now - 23, and that will be the nail.

We will go down on goal difference, and we deserve to go down cos we are a ****ing awful side.

Awful to watch, ****e individuals, ****e as a unit, no cohesion, zero creativity, no vision.

We are the definition of a dull, **** side, and frankly the whole league would be better with us gone, not the fans, purely from a playing perspective.

The lost revenue will absolutely **** us, time to brace ourselves for some tough times in my opinion. And I mean tough.

After watching that debacle yesterday I have to say, I am not sure where the next point will come from. Our defense simply capitulated and Palace cut through us at will. With Leicester now gaining confidence and believing they could do what we did last year, maybe this game will prove too much for us. What worried me more was Advocaat looked shell shocked at what he was seeing...if he looked around the stadium, he will have seem 40,000 SAFC fans with "we have seen this all before" look on their faces. Truly awful season.

I think the alarm bells were ringing well before the 1st game this season. Was it a miracle last season that we stayed up? Or was the performances and wins reflective of a side who thought they were already down and played like they had nothing to lose? The latter for me, the lil boys on this pitch this season have no respect for club, the fans and playing for the jersey! Fark I bet they know less then me about SAFC and that's pisspoor.. All about picking up wages, piss ups for the crop of **** that's put on the red and white stripes the
    Last couple seasons.

We sadly will be relegated. All the other teams can score. Fletcher is back in the team. Our centre Halfs are the worst in the league. Ellis can only blame himself for this and a constant buying of ****e players. The first team hasn't been improved in three seasons and we were scrapping relegation then. Until we start buying decent players we will tumble down the league. Bring back Bob Murray.

Ultimately it is Short's fault imo. Congerton needed a bigger budget to work with. He didn't get it. Short is taking the Mike Ashley approach of just doing enough to keep us up while he balances the books as quick as possible. Balancing the books should have been more gradual with more summer investment and it didn't happen.

Alarm bells rang for me when the summer transfer window closed and we had not bought two quality centre backs to replace O Shea and Brown! I thought it was essential and painfully obvious that the two oldies would have been reduced to being useful squad players. I was dumbstruck that it didnt happen! To be honest i am quite shocked over the number of games that they have actually played. Another problem, in hindsight, was not getting a striker in as well! At the time I was hoping a fully fit Fletcher would pull his socks up if we didnt get anybody in. Hasnt happened! What pisses me off is that other teams of our ilk seem to get players in who nee ****er has heard of but end up doing the business! Why cant we do that? How often do we get a player in who turns on the style and is sold for a handsome profit? (excl. Bent). SAFC is a graveyard for players with past reputations, baggage, and also rans! Depressing really when you think that we have paid over the odds for the privilage as well!

When Quinn was there we were signing Bent etc. Quinn was the ousted and the money invested pretty much stopped. Any time we have spent over ten million though it has been wasted so you can see why Short has thought twice about it.

    Wickham - nearly 10 mil
    Fletcher - 12 mil
    Rodwell - 10 mil
    Johnson 10 mil

I see his point mate deffo, but Quinn over spent and signed a lot of **** doing it, Short is under spending, we need middle ground with appropriate squad evaluation and a better eye for recruitment imo.

I think we will go down, I can only see us getting one point from our remaining games and Probably against Leicester, its a sad situation when you think teams like Palace, Swansea, Southampton were Championship teams a couple of seasons ago and yet they are far better than us, for some reason we cant attract good players and when we do there at the late stage of the career, if by a miracle we do survive, Ellis Short should put 50/60 million available to buy better players big investment is needed.

Buck simply has to stop with Ellis if we go down, I agree.

The man is a billionaire and he surely can see the potential in the club.

Yes, I absolutely agree with him initially wanting to stem the losses at the club, I get that, it was essential and gave us a platform.

But when the losses were drastically reduced, then the time is to invest, yeah, lose money for a couple of years but increased income from merchandise, TV etc as a club going places would reduce, and eventually neutralise these.

We've tread water on a budget and are about to reap what's been coming, all the cuts, all the penny pinching will pale into nothing when we go down and lose something like £130million in one fell swoop.

If we'd have spent around £35 million we'd be close to top 10, simple logic, we'd be around £90 million better off next year, plus additional prize money and maybe Sky show us more as we aren't dire to watch.

It's been an incredible lack of foresight for a self made multi-billionaire, and one which could see us ****ed for a long, long time.

We are praying for a Sheik, or a Russian or whatever to come in now, cos for me, we will go down now, I just can't see way back, especially considering the last 2 games.

I tell you something alarming as well, I reckon there are 3 or 4 sides in the Championship already better than us, and that's before we lose the few actual quality players we have as they won't play Championship football, the Defoe's, PVA's, Pantillimons, the seldom few.

As a final kick in the bollocks we will see massive losses on the likes of Fletcher & Rodwell, as we simply will not be able to sustain their salaries as a big fish in a ****ty little pond like the lower leagues.

It's dire straits time, no ****ing about.

Actually, AJ has probably repaid his fee in goals in 1-0 wins alone, I dispute anyone to say he wasn't worth the fee, £10million is very little nowadays anyway.

Rest are utter dog **** like, accepted.

Could be worse, we could have gave Wickam a new contract on massively improved terms... Oh. Wait. ****.

Aj i will concede he has probably just about been worth it maybe kinda.
I just think what else we could have had for 10 million... we got a piss head who looks like a nonce , and might just be.

I think our transfer policy has been an absolute embarrassment over the last 2-3 seasons. Bridcutt , Billy Jones, Will Buckley, Danny Graham, Jordi Gomez, Rodwell, Cabral, Diakite etc etc. This list just goes on and on.

Who have we bought where you've thought it's a good signing? No wonder we're teetering on the brink.
