We've just had two away games where we should have been targeting either two or three points, and we've lost both and shipped five goals. Bruce should have gone months ago. He is completely incapable of motivating players, and every time we have a must-win game we capitulate and end up losing by two or three goals. I don't want to call him clueless or idiotic, as the fact remains that he did win us promotion to the Premier League for only the second time and get us to a Cup Final. But even if we go down he really ought be sacked. There isn't any place for sentiment in football. I can see us getting no more than two more points this season, four at a push, and I would be surprised if we didn't come bottom of the league
Good performance, but yet again silly errors and no goal threat Hull Cityand Sunderland might both get relegated cos the bottom 3 are going for it
Simply put we deserve to go down! Burnley have had a right go even when getting beat and so have Leicester! Us on the other hand have been bloody awful! We deserve what we are getting and should have had the bottle at Christmas to get rid and find someone new. All you Bruce lick asses need to wake up! He's made the signings and he's picks the teams! No other team would have kept there manager after what he has spent
We aren't down yet, but we are certainly in a fight to the death to stay up. Jelavic is looking the biggest loss in these recent games.
Dont think we deserved that, however I realised that it just doesnt cut it in the premier league. I'm preparing for championship football next year the fact we have won 8 games since sheff utd semi last year is just sad and i'd prefer to see us in with a sniff. Everyone predicted a 2-0 loss today, we got it, why on earth can we be bothered if we just think we are going to lose against southampton. If we stay up it will be by the skin of our teeth, but just expect the same next year maybe with a few more points and we scrape into the premier league for another year or we go down.
We need to wake the **** up 28 points is not gonna keep us up. We need 33/34 (which is fewer than some years already). So we need to win a couple games somehow. Burnley is a must.
agree with what you say, but for me its the fall out from relegation i.e. Wigan , Blackpool, Blackburn,Birmimgham clubs that have gone into free fall despite parachute payments. just feel that if we go down AA, may just get his money back (parachute payments) and depart and we go back into the wilderness .
