It means he can press further up the pitch which is a good thing. Would entirely depend on opponents and systems. I think the report is wrong in saying his role as holding midfielder has been scraped. We've just got a gaffer who'll set up differently dependent on who we're playing.

I love Catts! If he could just lose his reputation, stay fit and get a great run going, he'd get a call-up. Yes, I'll get shot down for that but he's already played at every England level, knows how it works and just has to catch the eye again!

I wouldn't shoot you down. Yes one of the best defensive midfielders in the country. He more than deserves his chance.

Nowt wrong with adaptability. Good for Dick to encourage that, and good that Lee did it so well last Sunday. I think we've had too much rigid system this season - and look where that's got us.

Catts was much better further forward than he was in his usual place. I always thought he had a decent range of passing and his brain is better when he is attacking than it is when defending. Probably explains a lot of the tackles he has made too.

I agree with this. He might like to play in a particular position but he is better further up. That being said Sissoko has a habit of going missing in matches regardless of the opponent!
