That would be pretty embarrassing, not being able to beat a team put together with peanuts compared to yours
Thats football mate. If the most expensive team automatically beat every team that cost less then City and Chelsea would have a record of Played 38, Won 36 Drawn 2 Lost 0 every season (the two draws are against each other, in case you didnt follow that). And wouldn't that be a boring game. Plus your team wouldnt be incredibly ****, seeing as your club have probably spent more on its squad than the rest of the bottom 5 combined.
See, it's sensible thought out answers like that that are the reason we don't normally let swords out to play on other boards!
We haven't actually. But still, if you're thinking a draw against a team who not only assembled a team for a fraction of your own but also had their best player pinched hence making them a lot weaker and your team even stronger, then I think you're aiming far too low. Chelsea should be winning this weekend, make no bones about it.
Yes, we should.....and probably will. But you never know, this is football. Atleast wait until you have dicked us before gloating.
I'm not gloating! How the phuck could a QPR fan, in the sh*ts that we're in, be gloating at anybody?! It does make a hard job (beating a top team like Chelsea) even harder when your best player is now playing for them and not you! Still, you're right. Its not that easy an assignment for you given its a local derby and the team you're up against is fighting for its PL existence. I do understand your reservations mate.
QPR always play outta their skin against us, especially at LR. Couple in their relegation dogfight and it doesnt make it a banker for Chelsea by any means.
If we can get through the next 3 without losing and winning at least one, we'll be in a very good position.
loftus road is one of the few away games that i have been to and i remember watching us get beat there, kevin gallen header. its a very small pitch and a tricky place to go any time without qpr fighting relegation and finding a bit of form. it will be interesting to see how this game pans out, i would imagine that jose will sit back and look to hit on the break. i so wish he would just unleash upon them from the off and really just go for it and try to blow them away
I'm already having nightmares about our porous defence having Hazard, Oscar & Drogba bearing down on them
My (extremely biased and extremely specific) prediction: QPR 2 - 5 Chelsea Austin 45, 57 Hazard 19, 29 Remy 38 Terry 76 Drogba 88
I certainly hope so. Notice how I threw Terry in to score, seeing as I know how much you Hoops love the Telster
Telster scored in the 6-1 post Ferdgate. He is bound to be manager of the Rrrs one day, just like Rafa was for us
