Why don't you create a sticky entitled Name Change Posts where all this crap you keep repeating over and over again can be put. Go on, behave like a mod that's fit for purpose for once, act for the interests of all posters instead of just the one's that agree with your own personal point of view....................like you do in your position with the Hull City Supporters / CTWD Trust.
Trust them to do what exactly? Change the name Alienate the fans Go back on their word many times Deny the City of Hull a bus tour for both the promotion and getting to the FA Cup Final at Wembley You carry on trusting them mate cause I certainly don't.
So people aren't joining the Trust because they see it as a positive force for good, which can build bridges and well, meet all of the objectives it's set for itself, but rather they are joining what they think is a protest organisation devoted to protesting against our owner? Interesting to know, thanks.
I believe we have far more supporters than members, mainly because people are basically lazy, most of my mates haven't joined yet, even my kids haven't. All Assem does is remind people why we need a trust and gives them a kick up the arse to actually take the time to sign up, for which I thank him. If anything, refusing to give us our Away Supports Initiative money and refusing to address the shabby treatment of our disabled fans has reminded people that there's more to be done than just dealing with a daft name change. It doesn't surprise me that you missed all that, pretty much everything seems to go straight over your head.
if we do end up in the championship and Mr Allam goes ahead and changes the name does this mean that all the "supporters " who side with CTID will never go back to the KC to support "the Tigers"because they will have lost the argument anyway? we will still have all our history and memories they will never go away unlike the plastics and the ones that just want to cause agro and jump on the band wagon in calling for Mr Allam's head.
No, we can create AFC Hull City (or AFC City of Hull) and start again. Whether that time will one day be seen as the real Hull City only time will tell.
I think being a positive force for good and protesting against our owner go hand in hand. Frankly, he's a detestable man who represents everything wrong with modern society. He's driven by greed, ego and spite. The fact this man and his odious son are "successful" sickens me. Even if you look past the bastardisation of a 111 year old community asset you still have the poor treatment of disabled fans, the poor treatment of community sports clubs, the disappearing £200k, the rising of prices when football "should be like breathing air" etc etc. I'm in that 95 OLM sent out this morning, and I'm "proud" to be part of a grassroots organisation doing the right thing.
I won't be renewing if he is successful in changing the name regardless of what division were in . Ps hopefully i was one of the 95 too !
