Chelsea is probably the only team in the league that Morgan wouldn't walk in to. Matić and Fabregas are up there as one of the best CM pairings in the world right now.
How I see it as well. Neither will be here next season (unless something crazy happens). So the more teams in for them the better.
Matic and Morgan as holding midfielders with Fabregas pushed forward. Rumours Oscar could be leaving.
Ka-Ching! If I was either Clyny or Snidders, I wouldn't be rushing to Stamford Bridge however they will probably pay more than Arsenal or Manure so guess that's where they will end up. If I was Snidders I would chose Arsenal as he is guaranteed a starting spot when not on the treatment table, double my wage, play nice football, mix with lots of other French players, play in ECL every year but win very little If I was Clyny, I would choose Manure, at least triple my wages, play every week as they don't have another RB that's of any use, get into ECL every year, win trophies, get into England team regardless of form but have to put up with LVG
Yep, I reckon they are both off, sounds like it could be an auction, can only be good from a bargaining position, 2 might buy 4. Harry Reed gets to start. It can't all be bad..
Can you imagine the scene at Chrisitie's Auction Rooms, the porters wheel in Clyny and Snidders and punch them at the side of the auctioneer "Now then ladies and gentlemen we come to Lot 47, a lovely pair of young international footballers...who will start me off with £50m...£25m from the Argentine from North London. No sorry sir opening at £50m. £50m from the Frenchman from North London, £55m from the Russian from West London, £60m from Air Emirates, £65m from our Russian friend (said Frenchman and Argentine leave the room shaking their heads) ............" If they want to go (and I would love them to stay) then lets absolutely rinse the buyers as we did last summer so that we can bring in 5-6 good replacements
What, Morgan wouldn't get into the team that last month he bossed so well, that the Premier League's best holding midfielder left the field with his tail between his legs. Jose would have noted that.
I don't think he'd get straight in. I think he'd be on the bench a lot in the PL. Playing more in the cups etc. They've got so many top midfielders. Besides, Morgan might be reading this
I would suggest he would be guaranteed a place in the Arsenal and Manure teams however he would spend 50% of the time on the treatment table as per all our previous ship jumpers Chelsea, not so sure as Maurinio chops and changes his formation and team all the time. Also he would have to put up with some massive ego's, bossy bar stewards like Terry who runs the roost and be a little fish in a massive pool. This is something most of his ex-colleagues have struggled with in their new clubs
