City, oh so predictibly, threw it away.
Only the arsenal (snigger) can stop us now.

Its very likely that we'll win the title now.

Well if we lose three games Arsenal are back in the mix but I for one will be happier when we beat Leicester to make it a 10 point lead.

That's assuming Arsenal don't lose as well, however Lets beat Leicester and get those 10 points. When is that game?

End of April so plenty of games before then unfortunately including QPR, United and Arsenal I believe.

Am I the only one a tad relieved Costa will most likely miss the QPR game?
We will miss his quality but thats just the sort of game that he is ripe for a Red card in to be honest.
The QPR players and fans would have been niggling at him from minute 1.

Think we will beat QPR and United, draw at Arsenal.
Hopefully United and City get a draw this weekend.
Its good that City lost to be honest, as they will be more than up for the United game now, to win back some dignity.
Hopefully Burnley can do us a solid and get something from the Arsenal game too, though that is unlikely.

To be fair to Burnley, they've beaten City and got draws with us and the Spuds recently so can't be written off.

Wouldn't have thought a few weeks ago that a City win in the derby would be better for us than a United win!! What a collapse from City these last few weeks.

I know, City have been shocking!!
Agree about Burnley that it is possible they could get something, they are a resilient side, especially at home. Just that it is unlikely, Arsenal have been in great form lately (won 9 of their last 10 I believe).
Arsenals defence isnt great so if they can pull of a 1-0 or 2-1 that would be great, or even a draw.

When they clawed back the 8 point lead you were crying about Lampard, now it's all "so predictable"? <laugh>

At least Pellegrini showed some class after the defeat and refused to blame the ref when BBC tried to get him to do so. No #campaign claims <whistle>

If they needed to lose to Palace to be up for the United game then they were never going to be champions this season<whistle>

I see no one has issues with Lampard signing for City any more <laugh>

Burnley away is just the type of game Arsenal would mess up. Just like when they lost to Stoke. Come on Danny Ings!!!

difference this season is that arsenal are coming with a late run whereas normally they hit the front to early and then bottle it. be interesting to see if they keep winning

You cant win back what you never had <ok>

City will find it tough I think. Confidence is smashed and most have already left (in their minds).

Have a feeling we might surprise you lot. Well if Jose has the balls to try and play rather than park the bus as usual. We still struggle against highly defensive sides and Chelsea are the worst of the lot.

Any chance you will leave the bus at tye depot this time and actually try and play?

He'll be a little bit more open cos it's at home but I think he'd take a draw now in honesty. Same with Arsenal in 2 weeks time.

2 draws in those games would in theory give us a cushion of 5 points minimum I think with still a game in hand. I'm sure Jose would be happy with that.

Agree, no point in going out to win against either Utd or Arsenal. Park the bus and take the draw, i hope he does that and it pays off.

I think we'll set up for a draw against utd, and do our customary counterattacking blast at the emirates, collect 3 points and call it a day.

You guys are far enough ahead that you dont need to take risks so I agree Jose will be ultra conservative. Of course should you somehow drop points in the next game and fail to beat Leicester in your game in hand, things might be different...

Its not going to happen though.

If there were 5 games more left, it would be shaping up for an interesting finish.
