Erm, no. Where did I say anything along those lines? I was talking about Swansea and Stoke being boring to support. Where did I even mention us?
This whole thread is about us. Swansea and Stoke were examples of clubs we could emulate, who are pushing as high as they can. You're saying that would be boring.
No, I said replied to a specific point about them. Call me mental but I think I've got a better idea of what I meant than you have.....
I'd be pretty chuffed to be kicking around the middle of the Premier League for the best part of 10 years, just so long as it was Hull City doing it, and not Hull Tigers.
It's unbelievable that anyone could actually prefer relegation to fighting to stay in the top flight. I remember walking home after endless matches at BP thinking we would never get to where we are now, and if anyone had said some of our fans would rather stay down than compete in a tougher league I wouldn't have believed them.
I think people need to be careful what they wish. It's all well and good to go down and then be in the running to get promoted straight back. But look at Pompey,Blackpool Wigan do we want that???
I've said many times in the past 3 months that I'd swap places with Pompey in a heartbeat. The other 2 you have a point.
Call me mental but since you were replying to my post I think I'd have a better idea of what the topic of conversation was.
I don't mind the idea of relegation, I just worry about the state of our club and team by the time we kick our first ball in the championship.
Why bother going to City games? Why even bother posting on here? ****inell - even on a forum infested by pissing, moaning, neg-heads, this thread is lamentable and embarrassing.
What do you even mean by this? Would you swap places with Barcelona? Well if so why ****ing post on here then or go to games? Pompey are in a fantastic position - debt free, owned by the fans, run by the fans, for the fans. What is weird about hearing our disgrace of an owner make his weekly attempt to alienate the people who have loved this club through thick and thin and take an envious look towards a model like that?
Yes, as much as I will forever be grateful to Mr Allam for saving our Club I feel that he should have taken a step backwards and let people who know about football take a stronger position with the Cub. He should have also employed a Public Relations man to promote his image in such a way as to win him the adoration and loyalty of the supporters of Hull City instead of his "You will do as I say whether it is right or not or I will sell the Club" attitude which has alienated him from the fans. Meanwhile, we are in deep, deep poo-poo and will be lucky to survive so we will see what he is made of should we be relegated.
