After today's results we find ourselves in a precarious position, with I think a very real chance we'll be relegated.

What I wonder though is wether a united fan base/ owners/ team would have made a difference? Has the name change nonsense effected our league position? Would we be higher had it not been pursued?

Is in fact the name change going to be responsible for losing us the many millions of the premier league rather than the fanciful gain the Allams hoped for?

I think this could be the case, and it's all going to end very badly for all.

It's debatable whether the name-change idiocy has affected our position; it pretty definitely hasn't effected it.

I don't think we'd want Hull United fans tbh, although some of them are already ours, or something.

Err .. my post had nothing to do with Hull United the football team, I was talking about the club (hull city) and fans being united.
