phew !! talk about stress when charlie adams scored that outrageous goal !! but the teams heads never dropped and they deservedly beat a very dogged stoke side. good performances especially from hazard , (where would we be with out him) and willian. Shame about costa but now remy gets his chance and he certainly is not looking goal shy!! roll on a rejuvenated QPR

Yes a good win, which is what counts now. Another game less as well.

    Good 3 pts.
Willian isn't losing the ball anymore. Which is only good. Oscar is invisible very worrying.
John Square needs to get accustomed with the speed, Easily shoved off the ball..
However good that lob was, Thib should take blame as well.

Well worth our 3 points. Adam's goal has got to be up there as the most spectacular of the season. It reminded me of one scored by our centre half Bobby Evans against Millwall in the 60s in one of the earliest League cup matches we ever played.

A determined win, very good showing from pretty much everyone. Impressed by Willians improvement, he's not giving the ball away nearly as much and is a lively bugger ! Oscar is a big worry ,he looks completely out of confidence. So 3 more points , and we really earned them, hope Costa is rested properly, he is very prone to hamstring problems. Remy is proving a very good player, he deserves a run out. Oh ,and not a bad goal from Stoke !!

Massive 3 points. Was impressed with most of first half performance. Hazard was quality and performance was timely for him on a personal note, as P.F.A. votes go in shortly. Looks a shoe-in for player of the year. I thought Willian had one of his best ever displays,if not the best, since he's come here. Cuadrado is a work in progress. He reminds me of Ramires when he came first...losing a lot of possesion pondering on the ball and not realising someone will be on his case as soon as he gets the ball. We wont see the best of him until next season. Defence was solid and midfield got into gear once Matic sorted out his passing...first 3 passes straight to opposition !!! All in all, very satisfactory. Would be churlish not to mention Adam's goal....Respect !

Quite a few of our players must be covered in bruises. Matic and Fabregas were smacked hard in the face, Drogba pushed down off the ball, Cuadrado bashed around mercillessly when he came on. Stoke are a team of bruisers, but that's their only chance here because they were totally out classed in the football skills department. Having written that, a superb goal from Adams from inside their half, I reckon Curtois was watching Hazard down injured - far up field - from yet another nasty Stoke challenge when that superb shot/lob was unleashed. Curtois well beaten because he didn't start running back to goal until it was too late.

That was a massive win for us. I read an article yesterday (think it was by Paul Merson) who said we need more firepower to become a top european team but Remy seems to be doing the business when he gets a game, domestically at least. Absolutely great buy for about 7M.

However had we not had Eden Hazard this season we'd be an awful lot worse off. He's almost getting us the points by himself, he's a genius and was miles ahead of anybody else on the pitch yesterday. That's becoming a growing trend.

I did think Willian had a really good game too and it'd be interesting to see him more central behind the striker a bit more often with Cuadrado or Ramires out on the right.

Another game down and only five more wins left!

On yesterday's performance, Cuadrado has some way to go before being any where near as good as Willian was yesterday. I thought Cuadrado was meant to be on a par with Willian when we signed him?

he was suppose to be very good, yesterday he looked scared, every time he got the ball he just immediately squared it or backed it, looked very uncomfortable, maybe ****ting him self that he was going to get clattered by a stoke hit man

Good goal by Adam, but really Courtois ****ed up royally, it was his awful positioning that made up Adam's mind for him about if he would try a shot

i think this goal is being blown out of proportion, as other people have said all he did was hit the target from the halfway line, how many attempts would he have to have to do it again? most prem class footballers should be able to get it some where near? im just glad it was not a winning goal because then it would of gone down as the best goal in all recorded history in all the universes past and future

Been to see Chelsea Stoke a few times now, and it never seems to amaze me about how little is discussed with regard to their utter thuggery. MoD focussed on "the" goal, never mind that he shouldn't have even been on the pitch for elbowing Fabregas in the face. That horror wasn't even mentioned. They kicked, wrestled, punched, kneed, hit, elbowed and grappled non stop....absolutely disgusting,

Went with my son & his mates and they couldn't believe it. Horrible, horrible team. That win was so enjoyable against a nasty team. If justice had been served, they would have been much worse off than the 6/7 yellows they got
