I think Pochettino has tried to address the team"s defensive deficencies, and it's backfired.These tactics are far duller, and are less likey to win. Part of the blame may be a desire to put Paulinho in the shop window. That's backfired, too. Walker is proving a misnomer. How was he not subbed? Davis at CB. Hmmkay. This is going well.
Aside from the London derbies at home and a couple of other games, our football had been terrible this season as has pochettinos tactics ,but Kane, Eriksen or Chadli save the day. We're an average team with an average manager but we have individual players that can make a difference so there is always a chance we can nick a win.
Really poor game, looks like a preseason game in America, no atmosphere, totally flat game with both sides looking out of touch and slow. Get Townsend on for Paulinho or Mason, whatever Paulinho's done in training to get himself in the line up it's not working, he needs to play deeper or not at all.
Well, at least the defence is living up to expectations!! Burnley are so much sharper its embarrassing. We are ponderous and lethargic. Paulinho and Chedli slow and anonymous and Bentaleb and Mason either passing to the opposition or backwards and sideways. As for Walker....... This is dreadful fare...... Anything half decent is coming through Eriksen and he needs some support. I would say that it can only get better, but there is another option and at the moment I wouldnt put money on either.

This is one sorry excuse of a performance. .. nothing has changed this half We are slow and ponderous all over the pitch and haven't looked like we are ever gonna make aproper chance let alone score
This game is similar to the form before we hammered the chavs at home, fans moaning all through the game then up pops Harry Kane or Eriksen and apparently that isn't luck to play crap all game but win at the death!....but we will take that if it happens as need to finish above the saints (at the very least).
We can still win this, yes we're playing crap but its 0-0 and as the game approaches the end Burnley will feel like they have to at least keep a draw which will invite pressure and we have Harry Kane!
