Ramsey deserved to get slated, he was playing awful for a large part of the 2013 season, and the Bradford game always comes to mind of just how bad he was that season.

He didn't deserve to get slated, a bit of constructive criticism maybe but he got abused and wenger and Ramsey have since spoken about how it damaged his confidence and made it harder for him to mentally recover. The poor guy came back from a horrific injury with his leg broken in six different places and was thrown into the team and expected to replace the creative hole left by Nasri and fabregas. He wasn't as bad as people made him out to be and he needed support to get back to the level he is capable of.

To clarify he wasn't great that year but didn't deserve the level of abuse he got.

Sorry but walcott is a not a patch on sterling in my opinion. The only thing walcott is good for is a 100 metre sprint and great off the ball movement. His dribbling is pretty poor and similar to swp. His finishing itself isnt that great. Hes scored some great goals but he also misses a lot, this just gets overlooked because he gets a lot of chances.

Sterling whilst not a great finisher is as quick stronger can dribbler both ways can pass better and is younger. I think you guys would be crazy not to have a straight swap especially considering wallys injury record and age.

Theres a reason why the proffesor isnt giving any minutes to wally and its because he isnt as good as your other players

I think what a lot of us have done, including me, is discount Walcott's poor injury record. I have no doubt that if he was less on the treatment table and more on the pitch, he would have got a lot more goals and given us a more dangerous attacking threat. But where do we draw the line with players and their injury records? What is the point of having a good player but struggles to play a run of games. Doesn't this just ruin the teams momentum?

We do have a very fine squad now and I feel we should be a little more ruthless with the way it is run. Maybe Wenger is already doing this with Walcott....

There's a touch of folly in comparing someone who's been a established player for 6 or 7 seasons to a player who's only played one full season in his professional career.

It shows how good Sterling can be to even be compared to an established experienced pro and England international like Walcott.

Most Arsenal fans don't think Sterling is better than Walcott, nor are most people calling for Sterling to be bought, the only reason there are comparisons is because there are some similarities, that's all, and young players ALWAYS get compared to older similar counterparts, so no it doesn't 'show how good Sterling is', because so far he only had one good period with you last year, but other than that has not been spectacular.

I hope we don't go for him, he's not what we need, and he certainly doesn't get ahead of Sanchez or Ozil.

Yes it does show how good Sterling is. Your logic is more flawed than your bitter rant over Owen

At least it's nice to see you are not slating your own club players and manager for a change I guess <ok>

Not going to go in circles here, you can keep that diva Sterling, don't want him anywhere near us, he's not good enough or that special for us to sign him. We want world class quality aka Sanchez who scored a world class goal yesterday, not like that Diva Sterling bumbling over like a bamby when he got that pass from your Pires lookalike.

We got Sanchez a BEAST, you can keep Sterling the bamby.

How anyone thinks Theo Walcott is better than Sterling is quite puzzling to me. What is the difference between Walcott and that kid from Crystal Palace, Dwight Gayle? Not a lot to be honest. Walcott has a lot of technical deficiencies. The game in England (especially at Arsenal) is moving away from the fast running, hard hitting footballer. Even the England national team is playing (or at least trying to play) more controlled football. For this you need thinkers. Walcott is terrible and thinking. He plays on instincts. If he has the ball for more than 2 secs he has a brain fart. 2 secs or less and you have an effective player.
