I'm a Swansea fan and I don't think this will be an easy game at all unlike other muppets I know! You will be fighting for your lives and will have more to play for than us, although we are playing to get to 50pts. You have always given us a tough game and tomorrow won't be any different. Hopefully (for me) we can come out on top and get the double.
    What do you lot think?

I hope we give you a tougher game than the home game. You won't have had an easier clean sheet than that all season. A performance similar to Chelsea (minutes 10-45) would do.

Anything could happen. Could be wrong but I don't think we restart too well after international or fa cup breaks. If we've still got any of the confidence we showed against Chelsea it should be a good game. Wouldn't be unhappy with a point.

If we attack we have enough for a point. If we do what we did at Stoke then its a late winner for you lot.

We have to attack. I hate this bollocks of setting up to defend for a nil-nil draw. It's a winnable game, we have the strikers and players to score goals - stick them on the pitch, we might just score the goals and win.

Tough game for us I know you created a dozen decent chances at villa last time out so could have won by a bigger margin how ever your right we are fighting for our lives, depends if we have a real go or hang back like a lot of our away games hopefully we will get something out of it we need to fight like its another cup final, be careful of your pace and hopefully will get something but we will have to be at our best to do so.

If the last game against Chelsea is anything to go by we may have turned the corner tactically and shown a new willingness to play attacking football and get our players into the oppositions half. If we can reproduce that attacking spirit and N'Doye, Hernandez, and Ramirez are on form we may surprise you. If Diame is fit to play then our MF will be much more innovative and willing to shoot from distance. Losing Huddlestone to suspension actually improved our play.

My big concern is our weakness against shots from outside the box which I'm sure Monk is well aware of and Shelvey will no doubt be trying a few 25-yarders which McGregor is vulnerable to. A win will be massive for us and I expect us to come home with 3 points from a 2-1 win. Should be an exciting game as you lot play good fast attacking football, and our back-3 will have to cut out the mistakes which cost us early on against Chelsea.

Good luck for the rest of the season after tomorrow:biggrin:

How much of our performance against Chelsea do you feel was down to it being a game with less pressure of expectation?

I think games against the top clubs leave fans feeling that anything other than a thumping is a reasonable outcome. I think that releases the players a bit.

Against bottom teams, we need it more, so nerves and confidence play more of a part.

    Does that sound realistic?

I'm not 100% sure where that theory leaves us in games against teams in a position like Swansea currently are. They are the ones that can relax a bit more, hopefully too much.

I think that Chelsea's early goals left City with no option other than to attack - I'd like to see the same commitment without the setbacks.

I don't think we should show them too much respect. They're a good side and play decent football, but our players should all be looking at their opposite number and believing they're at least good enough to match them if not more. My honest belief is they're overachieving, while we are underachieving. Our squads are of similar quality plus we need this a lot more then they do. To that ends I think we should go there and give it a real go.

If Hull play anything like we did against Chelsea then a win is on he cards. Lets hope that Shelvey does not get the luck he got @ the KC eh ? lol.

    Should be a good game.

Swansea are a very attractive side to watch. They play an open brand of football and that will be good for us. Get the ball down and play as we did against Chelsea, with the same commitment and we can get a point.
