Look mate with all the money those ****festers have got you would have expected them to piss this league and yet they haven't by any means! Who really gives a fook what they do anyhow! We are having a great season so let's just enjoy what we are doing and fook everyone else.
Why would you take on Barcelona at their own game? Bournemouth do knock it around well and have some very capable players, played us off the park at times, you would however expect that with the money they have spent and do spend on their squad....however they are the biggest bunch of cheats I have seen all season how Wilson avoided not only being booked but not sent off is beyond me, constantly whinging, diving and making infringements throughout the whole game, the ref must have had about 3-4 words with him...good side Bournemouth but they can clearly cheat with the best or should that be the worst of them.
Our good honest toil matched their fancy Dan cheating diving passing game ......fair result ...mom Bart...imo
Sorry I'm with San Diego ,we were kept in the game by Bart making three exceptional saves other than that they were a league above us in terms of footballing ability and they will fit into the Prem whereas we would flounder.
I just don't understand some of you boys at times! You say that Bournemouth are light years ahead of us in footballing ability so can someone please explain to me why it is that they haven't beaten us in 4 attempts? They have spent Millions on players fees and wages now compare that to what we have spent! Yes I would live us to be more of a passing side but we absolutely play to our strengths and we are the hardest working team in this league. Yesterday showed that we were determined and resolute. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Just had another quick look down Warkys prediction thread. It seems the most anybody ever expected us to get was 4 Points from the Watford and Bournemouth games, so we're 'on budget' - can't control what the other teams do. Wolves is looking likely to be a massive game now.
Good points Warky. I raised the prospect back in November of the Cherries spending loads, steadily moving up the league, little upstarts - and a team to watch. Not gnats fart on here! I for one far prefer our honest, hard-working, great club spirit and leadership, loyalty - with the odd glimpse of real skill and movement forwards thru the middle if we are lucky- to the headlight dazzlers, highly paid prima donnas, who wince, moan, collapse in a heap at slightest touch, and, try to con the ref so bleedin often. We all know a few perm signings here and there, will complete the trick, but we dont half give it a real go for a bunch of cart-horses tho! Is there a man out there not enjoying this season more than last 3....5!?
You do speak a lot of sense Gaffer........ We now have the same points tally that we finished the season with last year....so it looks like it will be an improvement on that total which imo is all you can ask and as long as we improve our point haul each season we will go up sooner or later.
I of course remain hopeful like most others, and it will be a real lift to the team and club when we can bring on a fit revived McG or Jonny instead of ......good old Wood! Tactically MM prob thought, put him in amongst them with his height and presence...er no! We too easily slipped into the backs to the wall mode again. I would love to see Murph, his new best buddy Freddie and Mcg behind them. From what ****e streams/clips I saw, I for one owe Skuse an apology....he has grown into the team and club, and gave a hard-working all round performance....and the odd eccentric give away! Berra and Bart phenomenal, Tommy...still have my doubts, and new boy Fryers, quite impressed by him in his first game for Town. Did anyone hear Eddie H interview? "We were def the victims of the peace, today!" Tell you what, my 93 year old auntie would have shoved her lovely walking stick right up his backside.....and that would have been too nice for him! 3pts to fight for Monday, and back in the six mix.
I thought we did alright yesterday in general. Main points for me are..... * Wood offered sod all when coming on. * Williams/McGoldrick hopefully will get minutes at Huddersfield Monday. Shame weren't deemed fit last 15 as would have been useful. * Fryers was horrific first 15 but then settled. Looked alright. * Bishop couldn't get into the game. Good sub taking him off, thought Tabb + Skuse together did a lot better in the middle. Bournemouth goal came when for the first time we weren't being battered! * Berra should have been on Jones, not Smith! * Chambers at RB really does alarm me still. Overall happy with a point. VERY annoyed other results didn't go for us yesterday, however, we can only do what we can. Six to go, starting with Huddersfield....
Oh the ****ing irony, it wasn't that long ago that you guys were waving wads of cash at us because you thought the invisible man was going to take you back to the promised land. Talk about double standards
TBF to Berra he had his hands full looking after Wilson, seen the goal a few times now I am not sure what more Tommy could have done, yes he may have slightly lost Jones initially but he got back to him, sometimes you just have to accept that he got the better of our man on that occasion!
I see Howe is getting a bit defensive over the money he has spent this season.......and even calling SuperMick a liar in not so many words.....
http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/27180/howe-much-cherries-boss-responds-to-spending-claims loved the bit, "I don't like to comment on such thing, but............." stop blubbering you stupid little prick Howe!
Mick's done a' Mourinho' on him, thrown Howe the lure and he's bit big time, good to see that we've got an experienced manager who can play the mind games.
