Even if he doesn't make the offer we could just have a vote on it. We tend to rule by majority vote on here anyways.
Rolf You must have missed the posts about the advertising being under review. The banner space is restricted now, but may not be in the future. No boats have being missed, as far as the club is concerned we are welcome aboard.
Being serious, I do think we've been amazingly lucky that mauled stepped forward. I don't know what the answer is for a reward, but it'l be good if we can think of something. Let's keep it all a secret from him though.
I'd happily take care of one if you struggle for volunteers... But I sit on the top row in the south east corner was you planning on having them all in the North Stand?
I've no preference which stand they go in. I think upper west's possibly least visible, and I can see arguments both ways for them being grouped together and spread around the ground. I think if we see where any volunteers are, and see what people think is the best option. Thanks for offering, as with the other decisions, I'm happy to follow the feeling of posters.
Thanks I do have an account, but wouldn't login so I'll try logging in first and sending to the email address Thanks
Strange, you went to https://www.paypal.com/home ? If it wont let you login from there it has to be a problem with your user name or password. It wouldnt let me login from the link that was originally posted if that is where your login trouble is occurring.
Someone's just pointed out on another thread, that my description may be confusing. To clarify, these banners will still be much bigger than most you see in the stadium, in fact the only two bigger are our other banners. My reference to them as 'smaller', is only in the context of the ones we've had before. These are bigger than your quilt, and give us more options on where they can be displayed. Early indications are that donations so far seem to be going really well, which given the current economic climate and goings on at the club is fantastic. I think you're doing Hull City Football Club proud. Thank you If you're having any problems donating, let us know and we'll do what we can to help. All donations are welcome, so don't worry if you can only spare a bit. Just make sure you can spare it, and it's not money that's needed for essentials.
I'm a bit confused about how we display a 6'x4' banner that isn't being put up anywhere, it's obviously too big for someone to hold up in their seat?
A possibility is that people know a spot where they could display it, so it would be on show all game. At a push, one person could display it from their seat, but probably not all game as it would be draped over the people either side and for two or three rows in front. One person of average height could also comfortably manage to hold it up, again, not all game, and the people in front could obscure some, but it's an option. One person, with understanding folk around them, could certainly do it pre-match, and at key moments in the game. We could even investigate poles, so it could be held aloft. They'd need to be approved, and probably collapsible, but it's an option. A group sat together have other options, plus some people have raised areas they feel it could be displayed. I don't know the detail, but it's an option. Over and above that, there are several spots around the ground where it could be spread out. Away fans manage to put their's up as do we do it at away games. These flags certainly give us more options. It's what's traditionally been done for decades.
