Congratulations to degs for winning the level stakes profit competition and Sir Barney Chuckles for winning the points competition.

    <magic> <cracker> <magic> <cracker> <magic> <cracker> <magic>

An honourable mention to the runner ups DocD75 (very consistent), Smokin Beau, Bluesky, Dexter and ??shortrun??

For me I started very badly this week but made up some good ground today.

A big thanks to Ron for running the comps.

Cheers STB. Feel like a front runner that just faded in the final furlong! It was the exact same in the Epsom comp! :) Well done Degs and Sir Barney! Cheers Ron for sorting it all out!

Well done Sir Barney and Degs and most of all to Ron for putting in all the hardwork.

I think we need an enquiry into any suspicious betting patterns . Did shortrun lay himself on betfair by any chance as he had a commanding lead and appeared to drop his hands by not even competing on day three! :emoticon-0100-smile

Don't say I missed him as well.

Dex, I've included yours. Sometimes I notice that there is a delay in posts appearing and then when they do they appear in the correct order. if I 've already gone past that point it's possible to miss a post. I do go back and check but I obviously missed yours. Sorry about that.

I could, in future, produce a list of missing selections which would not only be a check for me but also could act as a reminder if anyone has forgotten to enter.

Thanks Ron...no big deal... I didn't mean to throw a spanner in the works and create more toil for yourself!!

Everything about the compo's are spot on.

Two great comps. Great job by the comp master himself, Degs to get home in front. It only goes to show that experience tells in the end. :) Doc ran a game race, being on the pace throughout.

Very well done to Barney who was too good in the points comp. Don't know what happened to Shortrun who came into the last day with a huge lead. As he didn't get to the starting stalls, it was left to the old war horse Barney to get home from Bluey and Dex.

    Just checked and for info:
    Reebok missed the first day
GDC, Shortrun, Steveo and Utter missed the final day
Tidalbay missed the second and third days

And words of encouragement for anyone who finds themselves at the bottom of the table after the first day.

Bottom of the Points table after day 1. Degs
    Winner of Points competition. Degs.

It's not over 'til it's over.
