    Isnt the story that they meant to sign Lee Carsley instead? There's the old dubious story that this happened with Luther Blissett going to Milan when they thought they were signing John Barnes but it's more an urban myth than FACT.

    If we get another keeper can we get one who doesn't need time to.. settle in, acclimatise to the weather, learn the language, adapt to the English game and so on.

    Fee may be doable, but wages won't, and i'm sure there will be a lot bigger and better clubs in Europe interested in him so he'd not consider us
