I'm sure all the people in education and health who have better opportunities and life expectancies are furious the man wanted people to know why he was giving his money to them.
How convenient. We're talking about members not customers. I didn't choose to focus on that it was Strov. He thought he could use it to demonstrate that a majority favour Hull Tigers. The clubs membership scheme is the OSC. That's not up for debate, they recognise it as being so. You can't just claim that people who buy one specific product are members. If you could then I could also claim everyone who bought a scarf or wore a badge was a member of CTWD. If we're talking about memberships, more people joined the relevant group to say No To Hull Tigers than joined the relevant group to say they support Hull City.
Suggesting that anyone who hasn't responded doesn't give a **** is patent nonsense. There's only one side of this debate who've been demanding a free vote for all season ticket holders and it certainly isn't the owner. In fact, he's done everything possible to avoid doing one and even when forced into it, he did a bent one. He knows what the outcome of a free vote would be as well as we do.
Don't think you understand how research works. Those who don't put their vew across, whether by poll, social media, whatever can't be counted. They aren't part of the sample and their view is deemed to be represented by those who do vote.
As far as the name change goes, do the numbers even matter outside of a specific vote? Surely the focus should be on how to oppose or support the change, not on how many agree with you?
Almost everyone on here knows my real name anyway, but if your going to post mine without my permission, you should at least have the decency to not hide behind an avatar yourself. So come on, what's your real name? Posters are reminded that they are free to post on here with anonymity and those who reveal real names without permission can be removed.
You caught me with my coat on, good timing! I know you are one of his acolytes, so I do expect you to make things up and not tell the truth, or gives the words of others their true and honest meaning - thanks for not letting me down. Where have I said he is not charitable? You are right, he is a businessman, one that gives generous charitable gifts in the course of building himself a reputation of doing good - will it be a Knighthood next, then a peerage? A pity his name-change shenanigans are not working out as he had hoped. Your argument is very weak, yet you persist; why, are you too stupid to understand how this has unfurled? (unintentional banner link, oops! ) Catch you later.
My real name is George Bell, Rob, nice to meet you. I must admit I'm surprised you're as touchy as you are about your anonymity, given you are on the committee of the Hull City Supporters Til We Die Trust and are supposedly about to publish your photograph on your little pressure groups website/literature. Ps. Only kidding that's not really me, but it's fun to go fishing for the usual morons!
I'm not concerned about my own anonymity, as I said, pretty much everyone knows my real name already, but I am that of others. George Bell figures, the Twitter leper.
