I wish all the people who keep threatening to **** off would just **** off, absolute melons the name of the club has taken over your life get a grip. These people seem to fall into one of the following categories (Senile old men/women) (teenage "casuals" and there little tag along girlfriends) and (midlife crisis Males). Get back to enjoying the game. Rant over

I think he's still managed to do an awful lot better for himself than you have.

I now don't understand why any Hull City supporter would be for this name change, aside from the threat of the owner to walk away if he doesn't get his own way.

If he wins the day and you end up as Hull Tigers, you'll sound like some wool wannabe club, trying way too hard to be noticed. You're Hull City and changing to Tigers won't take you from where you are now to some promised land. Even if Allam's opinion on your appeal in the Far East was correct, he'd never be able to leverage any tangible revenue from the a region where snides are everywhere.

He needs to put his ego to one side, realise it was a crap idea and bury it.

Oh Strov do give up, enough now: Moving on, my son, his mate & myself have been season ticket holders since Boothferry days and we long ago decided that if the name gets officially changed we are off. It would break my heart not to come again to games but it would be the last resort agains a chairman who doesn't understand. I've supported Hull City longer than Allam has lived in this country but he is driving me and many others away.

Do you think fans go because of Allam?

There's a reason why so many people don't bother coming on this forum, it's because you aren't allowed an opinion. What is the point in a forum where everybody is agreeing all the time, anytime somebody comes in and gives their opinion they are jumped on by about 5 posters. If you aren't up OLMs arse you're an outsider on this forum, it's pathetic.

I've been much the same too. Whilst I have had personal (work, time and money) reasons that have meant I could not attend as many games as previously, my motivation to actually make the time or save money for matches has totally disintegrated.

They wouldn't be able to go if it wasn't for Allam.

Well said. Everton fans know all about chasing money in the Far East and its pitfalls.

There are a few who don't go because of him and some who will not go in future because of him as well. But I still maintain that the majority do not care who owns the club enough to stop going.

I love this. "If you agree with OLM and don't like the name change you must be up his arse" Because of course, it's impossible for people to have the same opinion, isn't it?

You must have your head up Assems arse.

And your proof of this is?

Then again we have half wit fans whose dad is proud they would assault someone for doing something they don't agree with like standing up and supporting the team.

What codswallop. What you mean is we might not be in the Premier League, but I'd prefer League 1, League 2 or even the Conference than this continuing bullshit that we're getting from Allam.

Yep. When we were sponsored by Keijan, as part of the deal took 2 Chinese players into our squad.

One of them - Li Tie was extremely high profile in his own country ( the Chinese Beckham, lol) and as a result we often had 1 BN, yes 1 BN Chinese viewers watching our games. What tangible benefit did we get from that? **** all.

We've been sponsored since by the Thai beer brand Chang (it's piss btw) and we have strong tie ups in Thailand and the far East, but again, tangible £ benefits? **** all.

This site site is by far the biggest City forum, so people obviously do bother coming on, it's got over 2,500 members.

It's both patronising and totally inaccurate to suggest that the users on this site don't have their own opinion, you just happen to be in a tiny minority because you're happy to back the owner over something that most of us can see is a complete crock of ****.
