Okay, so after the roaring success of my match-day thread debut against the Florists last time out, I guess I need to step up the plate again and deliver in the next of our remaining ‘cup finals’ between now and the end of the season. So next up is a trip to the south coast to take on Crissy Hootun’s Seagulls at the Amex Stadium, massive game this, an absolute must-not-lose, but obviously we could really do with the three points to keep our promotion charge on track. We come into the game in good form, cracking 3-1 win against Florist before the break continued the four game unbeaten run, and with only one defeat in the past twelve things are moving along nicely as we move into the business end of the season. It will be a tricky one for sure, so let’s take nothing for granted – Brighton come had a good 1-0 win away at Blackburn last time out, they are unbeaten in the last three games and have only lost twice in the last ten. They have only conceded once in the past three games, so Hootun has clearly got them set up well at the back, which I guess comes as no surprise to a lot of you. I hope he gets decent treatment from the travelling Canaries, and no nastiness or bad feeling towards him, I don’t think there will be. I’d like to see the same eleven that started the last game, though I wouldn’t be too surprised if the gaffer made a change or two, particularly as a few of our boys were involved in the internationals. Wes and Tettey in particular came through 90 minutes midweek, though I hope Wes starts the game as he’s bang on form, full of confidence and playing as well as I can remember – probably not played as consistently well as this since the League One season, so hopefully he can keep it going for another seven games to help us over the line. We’ve not lost against our opposition since 2002, and have a good recent record against them – though none of that matters once the whistle blows so let’s hope for a good strong performance from the boys, and another three points on the board to get us even further in the mix. With Bournemouth, Watford and Derby involved in tricky and very loseable games – the latter two against each other, so at least one must drop points – we have an excellent chance to further make up ground with the automatic places. Middlesboro will fancy their chances at home to Wigan, but as we proved in our last defeat a month ago it can be a tricky one, particularly with the Latics scrapping for their lives in the bottom three., So if things go perfectly on Good Friday – and yes, that does involve a win for the binners – we could even find ourselves level at the top (on points at least) by 5pm. Of course if things go the other way we could even be effectively seven off the top and five off the top two, which would make it more of a challenge – but let’s not consider ridiculous things like that, it’s gonna be a good, good day, the points will be ours and someone if going to slip up, I got a feeling in me buhns I’m going for a narrow 2-1 win, perhaps even after going a goal behind – Jerome to bag them both – remember where you heard it first. COME ON YOU YELLAS!!!!!

As one of the people who is/was most negative about Hughton, I'd like to say this was a fantastic gesture and reflects the basic honour of the man. Personally I think he'll do very well at Brighton. He'll get them organised and hard-to-beat and it doesn't take much more than that to be competitive in this league (look at MM with Ipswich). Let's just hope he doesn't do well today.
I like you Cromer, but your post does beg the question why, on the eve of your match with Brighton are you trawling your rival's opponents message boards looking for soundbites and posting them on Munky's match day thread? Or did you get them from TWTD? Seriously Cromer, whenever I see that you've posted I'm guessing it's about us, and you seldom disappoint, I find you entertaining, don't get me wrong, but no other Budgie is so obsessed with us as you are... From yesterday's presser - City may have missed out on bringing in a loan striker in Grabban’s absence but the Scot is optimistic the 27-year-old will return to play some part in the club’s Premier League promotion push. Ryan Bennett is part of the squad for the Good Friday trip to Brighton and Elliott Bennett is also back in first team training but will not be considered against his old club. Midfielder Bradley Johnson is also fit and available after suffering a severely bruised foot in the 3-1 league win over Nottingham Forest prior to the international break. Neil confirmed his international contingent had returned with no fresh injury concerns as City gear up for the final push. So looking favourable for the glut of fixtures over the next 29 days!!!!!

So what, if it brings them success, I don´t understand this obsession some people have, that unless you play stunningly beautiful football, you ´re not worthy of a Premier League place, I guarantee if we got there playing that way, no-one would be complaining. There never has been a right and a wrong way to play football, and that is still the case today, if it brings them success and / or even promotion, then good luck to ´em. Stoke managed to stay up there for a decade playing that way.

has anyone got any alternative live streams? the streams on here http://www.cricfree.tv/football-live-stream are usually top quality. this is the main site i guess people use http://www.firstrows.eu/soccer but its feeds for lowly norwich games are mostly poor and even pop up blocker ware can have issues on that site. and if anyone is in to the darts then this is best site i have found http://www.cricfree.tv/watch/live/pdc-premier-league-darts-live-streaming
