@bbcburnsy: @hullcity confirm that they've sent a "letter of intent" re the name change to The FA #hcafc."
April fools! Must be. Oh, **** off you absolutely despicable, egotistical, arrogant, self centered, ignorant, lying, stupid sack of ****.
Excellent news. If the FA hadn't ****ed this up in the first place we wouldn't need to go through it all again. Fingers crossed this will be a better application and will be treated fairly this time. Knowledge is afterall power. Please note, petulant demands for me to respond to inane questions from the more needy on here will be laughed at then ignored. I've made my feelings and thoughts on this quite clear.
I reckon he's re-submitted the original application,Which ties-in with his assertion that it remains "unanswered" due to the FA Council verdict of a year ago being "Set aside" by the Arbitration panel. Whether or not by doing this he'll avoid having to poll ST holders again remains to be seen, but given the savaging of the original application by the FA In that report,I doubt he'll be any more successful... Unless he's taking a leaf out of the Qatar 2022 World Cup bidding commitee's book on "how to manipulate important people with cash-stuffed Manila envelopes",by firing a few cheques the way of gullible FA Council members...nah,he's a man of integrity,he wouldn't do that.
The TRUTH here is that the application of Last April was declared VOID by the independent tribunal on the grounds of bias. The letter of intent issued now is, therefore, not a new application. To declare that it is a new application and that Assem Allam is going back on their word is a LIE and is yet more Anti-Namechange propaganda by CTWD / HULL CITY SUPPORTERS TRUST.
I doubt whether he's that stupid. The application will contain more details of the business reasons. I wonder whether we'll get a vote but he doesn't have long to hold it if the next council meeting gets to decide.
The independent panel said the club needed to submit a new application, so unless the letter of intent is a new application the FA don't have to consider it. Simple.
**** off Stov, the FA refused to reconsider the original application, so he's just announced his intention to submit a new one. That may be nothing more than the original one with the dates changed, or it may be a completely new one, we don't know yet. Either way, a new application is being filed for the 2015/16 season.
If I watch a TV show, forget about it, and then watch it again, does that mean I've only watched it once?
