This is true and mostly down to WWE's inability to create and develop new young talent. It's right there in front of them but they're moronic most of the time and either completely blind to it, too stupid to use it correctly or there's too much backstage politics involved. They're always burying good young wrestlers in favour of **** young wrestlers like Roman Reigns, or misusing the real talents and putting **** wrestlers in the main matches and feuds. Very frustrating. At least Seth Rollins cased in his MITB briefcase and won the title. If Reigns had won it most of the arena would've rioted. Taker actually looked better than last year, partly because he's got rid of the ridiculous haircut and shaving-brush beard that he had in favour of something fresher and more youthful, but he was also in better condition physically although you can see he struggles to put on a match now. I'd like to see Taker vs Sting next year if they can manage it but also think both should probably hang up the boots and spandex for good now.
No, sorted clocks otherwise I'd have been late for footy yesterday Got to work and we've had a leak in one of the tenants room. Dripping from loft through a couple of lights, ruined a carpet and a couple of laptops. Then, whilst trying to sort that out, one of the visitors and a seizure as well.
The are seeking the next Hulk Hogan, The Rock, or Stone Cold so they opt for charisma over talent. Always have and always will.
Yup noticed that this morning as well and my dab digital radio that only updates once it connects to station so that was wrong when setting my alarm last night... Luckily noticed before this morning... dont understand why we still move them forward and back, seems pointless
Partly true, only problem being that the guy they want to be the new face of the company - Roman Reigns - has neither charisma nor talent. His mic skills suck, his ring skills suck. Compare him to Daniel Bryan, a wrestler who has tonnes of charisma, great in-ring skills, is really really over with the crowd, who basically has talent to burn and they have him challenging for the Intercontinental title. No shame in that but he deserves better.
The names are even **** compared to yesteryear too. Most just opting for a regular sounding name rather than Earthquake, Ultimate Warrior, Undertaker, etc
is Bryan Dan a big guy... nope has he a fuzzy beard.. yes... there's your answer... anyone that's not a bronzed Adonis in speedos (America is clearly gay) will every be the next big thing. Undertaker is the last great character of the wrestling world. He's so far past it its sad. I'd love to see his entrance into that arena... you won't see stuff like that again IMO. In an ear where super hero movies dominate the cinema's it is amazing the wwe have never created new characters like this.
Before, boxing or any other sport you do not have to pay extra if you're sky subscriber, these days sky are too greedy.
Most of them get told by the bosses/writers what names they will have. WWE guys that it, but even independent wrestlers like Bryan who come into the WWE get given new names - used to be Bryan Danielson, now he's Daniel Bryan, big difference there But yeah there are far too many normal named wrestlers nowadays. Partly it's because WWE sees MMA as one of their main rivals and audience suckers and MMA fighters just have normal names so they don't want to alienate that kind of fan.
