So Brady, the injured one, starts with Quinn & Meyler on bench & Macca left bewildered in the stands again even though there was a real hint he would be starting!!!
Brady had a bit of a mare at left back and was at fault for the polish goal and most of his dead balls were gash. Mind he did put one decent cross in which looped onto the bar. Shane Long equalised at the death to grab a draw.
That guy McClean had a major impact when he came on - politically he is an anachronism - a throwback to a time and era that is long gone except I suppose that he does comes from a very sensitive area (could be (should be??) playing for NornIron. If you could discard his politics he seems like a decent player that wouldn't cost very much - seems to give it his all and seemed to have more about him than Brady on the left side.
You'd think Brady was up there with Gareth Bale in terms of quality the way the Irish were criticising him for having one bad game. He scored a tap in and a decent free kick against USA in a friendly, he's not the next Ryan Giggs. Not only was he played out of position but he's not match fit yet, they need to get a grip.
Problem is that he thinks he is. His deliveries are absolutely gash 9/10 . which might be ok For some of our fans but not for a national team.
I have to agree, his crossing is absolute rubbish.and during a game will get 2 in 10 crosses right.for crossing ability I would always choose Robertson, he just needs to work on his defensive game, although I thought he played well against Chelsea in that area.
