Oh dear, rude joke popped into my head, too good not to share.

Do not read if you're going to be offended.

No, I mean it, don't read it then get all upset.

    You've been warned.

Two women wake up after a night out.
One says, "My mouth tastes like the bottom of a parrot's cage"
The other replies, "I'm not surprised, you had a cockatoo in there last night."

    Sorry.

    Vin

Oh wow, I just had a flashback to a happy memory from my youth....
We used to stay at my Gramps (who, incidently was born in Chilcompton!) in Devon for a couple of weeks every summer. As soon as we got there, we would beg him for some of his homemade lager, with lemonade of course!. In the evenings he would dig out his Wurzels records out and we would dance with delight and singalong with the songs.
One of these songs was called Down in Nempnett Thrubwell, penned by the late Adge Cutler I believe.

When I lived in New Zealand he was very much the NZ Cricket hero and star captain. There will be a lot of sad Kiwis around the world when he goes. Comes from a family who played for county and country, father Dave, and brother Jeff. Incidentally, he's also cousin to actor Russell Crowe.

That's a shame. I have already read enough opinionated, political feet stamping and we're 6 weeks away yet.

I think Koeman's Korner will go all Kaiser Chiefs on us before too long.

Hopefully not, otherwise we'll have to go back to the strict forum rule of having no overtly political chat at all. Keep respectful and keep chatting. Do remember that we only have Koeman's Korner because we leaned up against the rules. Now almost every Not606 football forum has their own version.

Britain is so rich in great place names...so many countries just seem to have towns named after saints...boring. You can follow our history just by analysing the origin of place names...Roman, Viking, Norman, Anglo-Saxon....all in there.

    Check out

Southampton reveal first profits since administration.

There are some Tweets seen on #saintsfc posted 2 hours ago, I tried the quoted link, but there is nothing on there.
Presumably if true the reports have been leaked? I cannot find any other sources to confirm the authenticity.

I see there is a thread up now so ignor this now.

I hope not too. I won't be joining in the political debate though. I find it frustrating enough listening to the parties spent more time slagging each other off rather than telling us what they can do. It's going to be lots of people telling me that they'll never vote x party or they'll always vote y party because they always have and their Dad and their Grandad did too.

It amazes me how many people state the negative reasons for not supporting a party rather than the positive reasons or policies for supporting another one.

I understand that mods have decided to keep it in Kormans and I'll have to pick through the political stuff to find the interesting stuff about little kittens and things.

Can't wait to read why one chap can't run the country because he's a toff and went to a posh school and the other main leader can't run the country because he looks about 15 and speaks funny. :)

<laugh> Good post! Not even a Tory, but it annoys me when people think a whole party has evil intentions. No party bar the BNP, etc has evil intentions.

It is always a question of balance...the rich and high earning contribute a vast amount to the exchequer, but there is a tipping point when income from these people goes down if you increase the charges on them as they leave the country....better to have 40% of something than 60% of nothing. These are also the group mainly responsible for job creation in one form or another...even simple spending in shops creates jobs. I'm sure some people have an image of the poor as little matchgirls dying in the snow. Having money doesn't make you evil and not having any doesn't make you a saint.
