I've no doubt the rugby clubs give away tickets. Equally, I've no doubt they don't give away anything like 4,000 of them.
is it one of those clutching at straws threads to prove a point? If 19,000 'enjoy' ( there both bottom of the league) RL in this city you are obviously counting all the away fans in with that, so.... City get 23/24,000 ish every home game, add to that the 19,000 RL fans of whom I would say 18,000 'support' another Premier League football club, and the bus load of 'Hull Reds' and ' Hull Whites' who cling onto the coat tails of those two teams then whoever penned this 'Hull is a rugby town' b0ll0cks is a bit of a nob.
Oh right, so which bits are free to be used by other clubs or sports that need a pitch to play on while they're playing?
"They use 100% of the pitch and the stadium" They use 100% of the pitch, but currently only 80% of stadium(probably less than 65% next season) and with a third of he ground closed, the costs obviously reduce by a third. I'm not sure if you're getting progressively more dim, or if you're just trying to make patty and smartarse feel less inadequate.
Can anyone else use it when they have a game on? No? Please note, I can't be arsed adding childish insults in about you.
I have no problem insulting Fez in a totally different thread. You've obviously ran out of more bollocks to spout on this. Good.
I don't think I need to spout anything, you've made a complete twat of yourself without any help from me.
I just checked and the 4,000 tickets weren't given away, there were 4,000 discount vouchers given away as part of the Sky Try Initiative, to get more kids involved in rugby. The vouchers got a family of four in for £50, students in for £12 and kids in for a quid.
Aye, I saw that, they're nowhere near selling out, so they need to do whatever they can to get more bums on seats.
Especially when tge free kids tickets included an offer for an unlimited number of adult tickets could be bought for £5. Given the thousands of free/cheap tickets available and the number of pass holders, anyone paying full price for a ticket is either determined to help the club, or foolish. It's worrying times for AP, because he needs to do something to keep the crowds up, but too many offers like these will kick the arse out of next seasons pass sales.
I have absolutely no interest in rugby league and both my kids are adults, other than that it's tempting.
