Money innit. Can't see it getting any better any time soon. Players like Sterling asking for silly money, valued at £100m by some daft media sources.

    **** sake.

It's completely down to money. Money and its trappings, women, cars, holidays, booze are far more important to these lads than playing football. It's bent way out of shape.

If I'd bookmarked every derogatory comment about Rooney over the past 10 years I'd have to buy another terrabyte of storage.

Man United might win nothing, until Rooney retires, but it won't be because of him.

Who would you replace him with, somebody like Falcao? Soldado? Bony?

My mate is a pro keeper, I've got two pro keeper mates actually, you'll know one of them for certain. He's had (big) money thrown at him from a young age ,all of a sudden he finds himself at a crossroads, in a couple of years he could be playing non-league.

If he'd have foreseen the way his career has panned out I'd imagine he wouldn't have wasted as much mate.

Still time yet mind I'm not writing him off at all.

Nicky Weaver still knocking around Cheadle? (doubt its him you are referring to) God, he was a drinker. Guessing he retired a few years ago now like.

Haha, no it wasn't him mate, I don't really go out in Cheadle very often unless I'm eating out locally, but even if I did I probably wouldn't recognise him!

I was surprised how many there are down that way.

Tend to go out in Didsbury more than anywhere else nowadays, nice little village although it's a bit pricey in some spots, especially when the Mrs decides she wants to drink cocktails!

I love Didsbury. Forget the name but there's an absolutely brilliant chippy there.

I bet its nowt compared to the large mixed kebab wrap at the Fry Inn in New Kyo! Its about the size of a large beach towel rolled up under the arm! It could have fed four people and I would have still had to hoy some oot! In fact It was so large I could have placed it at the centre of a dinner table and took cuts off it like you would a turkey! I filled up just looking at it! I challenge anybody from the Stanley area to try and finish one! It cannot be eaten in 2 sittings, nevermind one!
