Yeah I seem to have joined the game for the 10 minutes Brazil have been good. He's already started the 2nd half brilliantly.
Never mind Spurs, I'd find it tough to take him joining Arsenal. Hope a big BIG club come knocking if we can't entice him to stay for another beautiful seven years. He really is a rather special type of footballer.
Would have said shame, but gone off Morgan a bit at the moment He'll be back in my good books by the time we play Everton
Are you suggesting any club is bigger than Saints....I find it hard to imagine any club that magnificent
To be fair to the lad Fran at least we know what's on his mind. I respect him for that. Unlike twatbeard who spent the season declaring undying love for Saints and then turns up one morning and says "I'm off to Liverpool and I'm not gonna play until you sell me". Morgan is Champions League quality and he has earned his spurs the hard way. I hope we can hang on to him but if we can't give him C/L football next season I wouldn't want to hold him back at this stage in his career. Anywhere but the usual suspects of course ................
I agree that now is the perfect time for Morgan to move on for the sake of his career...but I don't have to like it.
He wasn't particularly great second half I didnt think. Looked a bit lethargic. He was also very considered with his passing today, which I guess he was instructed to be Without the tank wanyama to protect him...
Really, I thought he looked calm & self assured, whereas a couple of the French defenders looked poor as they went in search of a goal & got a bit stretched. Neat passing, nothing rushed, fitted in to the system very well. An eight from me.
The more I read, the more I disbelieve. "Slight tear" suggests to me England making too big a justification of sending him back... I bet he plays in Liverpool's next game. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-liverpool-injury-fear-daniel-8930262
http://eplindex.com/66528/walker-vs-clyne-englands-strongest-right-back.html Comparison of Clyne and Walker using stats from eplindex. Comes down on side of Clyne for temperament, but not as clear cut as we might choose to believe....IF you believe stats are everything.
That's been obvious since he announced Rickie was going to Liverpool before it was official. He still thinks he's their manager. I wish he was!
