For what it's worth, I don't think we'll be adding anyone.

Has anyone heard anything to the contrary?

 

If we do I imagine it'll be a covering goalkeeper, but not heard that Gerks is going to out for an extended period so I imagine it'll pass without incident.

Having said that wouldn't be surprised to see Benyu go out on loan.

Matt Clarke is the LB readymade replacement for next season when some prem club pays a silly fee for the vastly overrated Mings!

 

Hewitt has been recalled. Lets hope he gets given a chance, in his small number of appearances I've been far more impressed with him at RB than Chambers or Mings. I get the feeling he will be released in the summer though, just don't think Mick likes him, probably one of those players who likes to get forwards more than Mick is comfortable with.

I thought Clarke was more of a CB? Although we do have a habbit of playing CBs at full back and full backs on the wing this season

 

I may be jumping to conclusions but I would imagine that Mick had hoped to bring someone in on loan (hence why Hewitt was originally allowed to stay for the rest of the season) and now Mick isn't able to bring anyone else/better in - he has recalled Hewitt to bolster the options for the run in

Reg and Richie have both had their loan deals extended until the end of the season and including the play-offs should we qualify. On balance a goof decision based on their recent form.

Young Hewitt has also been recalled from Colchester I guess as cover for Parr and Mings.

 

Pleased with all three - hopefully Hewitt is given a chance (very much doubt it tho) as i think he looked very useful when played earlier (against Fulham)

Read elsewhere that Williams deal is dead and not happening.

Happy to drive home and be proved wrong though, but can't see it.

 

Would be fantastic if near fit - but can't see it myself.
Would also mean he would miss the PO final, if we got there.
