    Perhaps we could get him on a pay to play deal? 30k per appearance? It sounds like a lot for one game, but if you think about it 1 game per week, and if he doesn't play we don't play him, it's nothing more than what some of our players get.

    He is the sort of player I can see us getting on loan on deadline day if all our other targets haven't come off. Wouldn't be the worst signing of all time but I really think we can do better. Hope it doesn't happen if i'm honest.

    Why don't we just get Papiss Cissé from Freiburg? 28 goals in 48 games... We were linked with him a few months back i think.

    He only really had the one good season at Blackburn and was never as prolific at any club before or after that season. He is the kind of signing that Ashley will never sanction because of his age.

    I've really never been impressed with him...I'm not completely opposed to taking a flyer on a player who needs to prove they've still got it if they're on pay-to-play or performance-rewarded, but I'd pick others before I picked him. I definitely never feared for the Blackburn opposition when he'd make an appearance last season

    He's terrible! Only hit double figures twice! Had one ok season, I'd rather Ameobi the guy is that bad!

    He was brilliant for Blackburn but got ruined by going to Man Citeh.

    I reckon he could cut it for us though - he is better than Shola
